I agree with Kristal, this just sounds mind-blowing, the piano too, I can't believe the tone of that violin. Is this piece the same as the "Lizst Sonata" as recorded by Campoli? I picked up the violin part only, ages ago, but have never heard it played before.

I would say 'Milstein student' and 'on a 1714 Stradivarius' and so on are working against him (just my opinion)

The sounds that violinist can make are uncomprehending! especially for a pianist - you wouldn't think so much sound could come from 4 strings!
