5:37 if goofy had 2 gallons of gas and his car which is nash metropolitanor some other tiny fuel efficient car, could get like 40 mpg, which woulda gotten 80 miles, where would goofy need so far to go
@thekingof8 this was in the disney era where characters played any role and had any traits, they did that in same thing in a goofy movie where pete was like a beer drinking rich dad where as in some roles he's like a pirate or something
LOL, I remember watching this in driver's ed... I love goofy and he's my fav disney character. Watching this was better than hearing the instrutor talk his head off in class.
I remember the part at 4:00 like it was yesterday. I remember laughing at that as a kid till my stomach hurt. I don't know why "Uhh ohh, there goes ma tire" seemed so funny, but it did. Thanks for posting this.
Not sure, probably though because the last of the 'regular' goofy shorts were made in the early 1950's, wheras these freeway shorts were much later, 1965... and educational in nature. Both these reasons are faulted though, truth is I've never heard a *good* reason why it wasn't on the Complete Goofy.
We watched these in our drivers ed. classes haha

Stupidicus Ultimus, that's Goofy to a "G!" I wonder what we'd call the Teenage Driver, Gooficus Maximus, or Max Goof?

I like the cartoon, but I find Goofy is a little out of character. I thought Donald would've been a better fit.

@boberson33 A lot of Goofy cartoons in the early 50's often placed him in an every-man role.

My sis accidentally crashed into a trash truck when she got her first car. The only damage though was a scratched hood and a missing radio antenna.

"Most economical to buy just enough gasoline for immediate needs."
I'd say that this on certain occasions can't be helped because in this current decade, the financial slump has affected several others out there.

I agree

Despite this short being from 1965, these educational facts about driving are still essentially true in this current decade.
twist58 2 years ago 8
That's also very true. Just add the fact that you also got drivers who talk on cells or text. Or as I like to call them Calltexious Toomuchicous.

There's also the drivers who often makes stops to the restroom because of a weak bladder. I'll that one Bladderious Frequentious.
Then there's the driver that inists on driving while under the influence of drugs. I'll call that one Drugoholics Influencious
For the Alcoholic Drivers that are out on the road, It's Alcoholicious Oftenicious.
