@auxcaliber : It depends, normally a spin attack is done when you're wearing a back shield, OR, you are capable of putting the shield on your arm on your back position to defend yourself. It becomes a more useful move after that. But it usually only works once, if at all.

The worst I got I think was an arrow that hitted me from close range in the face after I hitted it with my sword and it went reverse but didn't change angle, so I bled quite a bit lol.

At this time they had way too much health lol, but the rules of this one are quite simple, a one handed sword hit for 1 damage, a two handed sword hit for 2. "Basicly" you had 4 to the torso and 1 to your arms and legs. If you loose your torso or two of your members you die.

Being into Full Contact Martial arts, I also studied a bit of Kenjutsu, of course it's all for fun, but I like to be able to use the ful extend of my potential while fighting with or without weapons, and since I was greatly penalised in LARP events, I , now, prefer doing it with other MA fans. These guys are not bad, except for the white one who did some useless stepettes from time to time.
Yeah full contact seems pretty cool if every players are aware that it's full contact. I went to one where it wasen't full contact and I saw a gang ramming in a shield or jumping in my back while I wassen't looking so he could kill me. Would have been cool if it was full contact but when people don't expect it to be it's kind of dangerous.

Pretty good for restrained combat larp. I prefer full contact. nothing like running toward the enemy line, then watching their faces as all the guys in my squadron jump up and flying kick them. But yes guy in white should just get rid of his shield.
The shields are made of wood, we can't hit with them so there's not many restain. As for the weapons, I prefer the latex ones, but I think there's one made of a pvc pipe covered with foam and recovered with tape of the appropriate colors. The other one is of better quality if I'm right, it's made of injected foam wich is comparable to latex in look amd quality.
I don't think that they are that bad, but hey, everybody have the right to say what they think lol. Just keep in mind that is not a full contact fight, I think that's why you think that they fight badly compared to what I saw in your video. Anyway, thx for the comment.

Look at the black knight from Monthy Pythons holy grail. He can take a beating for sure! These two guys could be inspired by him xD
In fact we can loose a arm or a leg due to hit points, some just have more than others lol, this fight is in fact waaay longer than the usual ones. But I'd tend to agree with you about that lol.
+ I still have to see that movie lol, couldn't find it around here but I heard of it alot.

The guy in the White is terrible. He should drop the shield because he does not know how to use it and it is only limiting his fighting ability.
Other than that, although I'm not into the whole larping thing (I am a swordsman though), it's nice to see people having fun with this kinda stuff.
