Just to get some facts straight (Not pointing fingers); Alesana never had just one vocalist. Adam often contributed screams - while Dennis and Shawn had the main parts. They actually are screaming correctly, they are using their diaphragm, it's just that maybe just how they sound or they're really good at controlling their pitch. As for Craig Mabbit, actually he was included in the breakdown of this song. He was guest vocals on track 13, which is this song. Sources: I've been a fan since 2004.
