The foundation of our freedoms is based upon a well informed citizenry. I free press, that's dedicated to do investigative journalism, is key to keeping us informed. Without that demagogues take control and the average joe becomes powerless to stop things which may include genocidal actions.
I get what you saying about tv news. GOd! I have DIrect tv.NEws...Same stuff over and over, Especially Infomercials...THe only thing Im into watching is whats goin oin in MY own home State of Lousiana!...THe only good thing about Direct tv is. I get every freakin sports channel, cuz i love sports, but all the infomercials Goooodess RIdiculous..(sigh ).. I can go on and on on this topic..
AND some of the other things they are considering taxing are pedicures, manicures, dog grooming, magic shows, massage, yoga, and a whole realm of other "services". They already added taxes for auto repairs and blueberries here in Maine....it's just getting to the point where 2/3 of your daily expenses will have some sort of tax levied upon them. Think about it!!!
