reply to last comment, download the app file, extract the files and put the file folder containing the boot, meta and icon documents in the apps folder on your sd card, or download the homebrew browser app from wiibrew site, put the "homebrew_browser" folder in the apps file on your sd card, run the browser from the homebrew channel (there may be a wait while it checks for updates and locates the app images) then the list of apps should appear

guys, if you just get a black screen, you need to go into multimodmanager, (you can d.l it from any website) choose your IOS at the bottom (usually 236, sometimes 36 if neither PM me and il help you) and then after choosing your IOS go up to remove stubbed IOS and remove the one that has 249 in it, and itll work :) (btw, if the owner of this video sees this, please post this in an annotion so you dont have to see the comment!)

To anyone attempting this scheme, I highly recommend you get priiloader or bootmii BEFORE your attempt. Make a backup NAND and save it on your computer. This way, if you accidentally banner brick your wii, you can easily recover it... Just trying to help...

CHECK YOUR SERIAL ON YOUR WII, IF ITS HIGHER THAN LU65 *i think* DO NOT DOWNGRADE SYSTEM MENUS OR YOU WILL BRICK. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE BOOTMII INSTALLED AS BOOT 2 BEFORE YOU START MESSING WITH THEMES OR YOU WILL BRICK, IN SOME CASES NOT EVEN PRIILOADER WILL HELP YOU.

if you have a 4.3 Wii, do not downgrade. mine is LU95 and i was told not to downgrade, or i will brick.

I recommend you to downgrade your Wii to 4.1 (or lower). Because 4.3 isn't really compatible with Homebrew. I don't have much experience with 4.3, so i can't really help you. sorry...

But if you want to stay on 4.3 then try searching here on youtube for tutorials.

I'm pretty sure there are some tutorials that show you how to get themes on 4.3.

@0815Runner I actually did a lot on 4.3 without problems that people said couldn't be done. Like custom wads and a bunch of other things. Yeah 4.2 is more compatible with it but If i downgrade my wii is pretty vulnerable. I think imma keep it at 4.3 and wait it out till homebrew is more up to date with it on everything ya know.

AND on 4.3 Wiis MyMenuify don't work. I've tried it when you load MyMenuify on 4.3 you just get a black screen. However, my Wii doesn't brick. I can't understand why people upgrade to FW 4.3... 4.3 has just drawbacks...

So just don't use 4.3 and everything will be fine ;)

just a heads up, i have a 3.2U wii and everything installed and worked fine till i tried out all the themes. the 'Eyes in the Night' theme banner bricked my wii so i wouldnt mess with that one. not sure if any others do but the Zelda, XP. wiid, and darkwii themes work great
