Jim Henry is my idol. He is absolutely amazing. I've loved his voice since he sang in Gas House Gang and my dad would play it on cassets when I was just a little kid.
@Tgoon1 Jim's brother died of throat cancer years and years ago. Fred Farell (the tenor of crossroads) stepped in and sang bari for the gas house gang for the remainder of their contracted performance. That friendship is what helped crossroads form
Mr. Slamka! So very nice to see you are still singing! I remember the good old days with POWERPLAY! At the Pioneer District Convention, I miss you guys! This song is awesome btw. Good Job!
Saw both Crossroads and Old School at Midwinter '09 Pasadena...and Crossroads completely blew them out of the water. Old School is awesome (like all quartets in the top 10), but Crossroads is just on a whole other level. Unless something drastic changes, it's definitely gold for Crossroads in Anaheim!
I'm inclined to agree with you, but don't count your chickens yet. The judges always seem to like SLG more than the audience does, and Masterpiece certainly has the talent to have their say. I'd love to see Crossroads win, it couldn't happen to four nicer guys, but they're going to have to fight like hell for it.
Gotta love that bass!! Jim you just gave me one of those "gold medal moments" just from me watching this! Thanks ever so much to who put this on here!

They handily beat everyone. Even second place was well below. It wasn't even close.

Crossroads is going to heaven, that's for sure... and they're going to win the 2009 International too.

Jim Henry is by far the best bass ever. EVER! Period.
Although I may be kind of biased...
He's my director!
