Years ago, I did a shoot for the LifeBoat Association. They had on the beach a kind of catterpillar track, rig. they straped me to it and it went into the sea. But as I went out, there was a kind of (what they call 'swell' ) not waves but the water lifts up. The swell eventually raised above me amid my cries for help. My Nikon plus motordrive (Film) was completely immersed in salt water. Before I got to my car it was wimpering to a halt, and I actually bought the motordrive just for that job.
