I would say it will be very tough for both froch and ward. Froch will try to land his punches in the early rounds effectively and can definitely hurt ward, without a doubt. But if ward implements quickness and his ''mayweather skill'' cautiously in the fight, i think froch would have serious troubles and perhaps lose rounds after rounds as the fight progress. I surely hope froch wins though.

@2650gullov Cheers mate, from an Englishman. Kessler just edged that scrap and is technically the better boxer IMO, but Froch is one tough bastard and hard to put down, Heart of a Lion. Kessler will testify to that himself and this war put him out of commission for a while. Kessler is a good man outside the ring too which is why we in the UK respect him, a nice guy as well.
Would love to see a rematch, this was very close to call and one of the best fights I've ever seen. Top drawer stuff.

why didnt froch just fight on the outisde for the entire fight using his reach advantage with the jab, rather than letting himself get sucked into a 12 round war. It seems as though his defence isnt tight enough and he just takes too many shots. i dont see how you can give a winner in fights like this aswell. rematch in order?

Everybody knows that the real tittle fight for supermiddleweight should be Andre Ward vs. Lucian Bute. I saw this Kessler-Froch fight and it was well proved that Frog is just a flinger and Kessler is painfully too slow.

One of these two is supposed to defeat Bute? This looks more like a bar fight than a boxing competition. I can hardly wait to see Bute against any of the super six. Kessler and Froch won't last until the 4-5th round and Ward maybe, just maybe, the 6-7th.

@alinbaza Add Gennady Golovkin to the mix if he decides to step up in weight. He KO'd Bute as an amateur and remains undefeated as a pro. He fights a bit like Chavez used to. Iron chin and just keeps coming forward.

I'm waiting for a 2012 fight between Bute and Ward . Ward is a good puncher, very offensive and less defensive, he is aggressive in the ring , on the other part Bute is more completely build boxer, with a great left hand punch and more intelligent. Also Bute has more strength and power in his punch. I'm for Bute in this fight, he is a more true boxing athlete and his KO are unpredictable. See his last fight against Mendy, with a KO in 4th round.

He defended his IBF title 8 times. who exactly are those big boys Bute has to face? kessler refused a match against him saying the money he got were not enough, without saying how much more he wants. In 2012 Bute will face the winner of SuperSix and it will surely be a win for him, but i am not sure he will EVER shut the mouth of so many hatters! After all, Bute is ranked nr. 1 for Super Middleweight so who are you, Ward or Froch to contradict that?

I would say it will be very tough for both froch and ward. Froch will try to land his punches in the early rounds effectively and can definitely hurt ward, without a doubt. But if ward implements quickness and his ''mayweather skill'' cautiously in the fight, i think froch would have serious troubles and perhaps lose rounds after rounds as the fight progress. I surely hope froch wins though.

@TheARMAProductions One thing i know for sure is that Froch will test Wards chin, that i know for sure. My only concern for Froch is that he's a slow starter and is open to the right hand. Thankfully Ward isn't a mega hitter and Froch knows this, if Ward had one punch KO power, i would say Froch would be in serious trouble, it would be like fighting the 168lbs version of Roy Jones because Ward has those type of slick skills. Ward isn't going to fight him, that's kidology , he's going to box him.

Both these guys are pretty disciplined guys. I thought Froch would take this one, oh well I was wrong. I never saw a slug fest coming. Kessler did a great job of bouncing back from a lose.

If Froch had a defense he's be a phenomenal fighter. Kessler landed loads of shots. Carl might have a great chin but fighters are still able to land scoring punches far too easily.
