umm...after it has been unfrozen w/ the liquid nitrogen, does the balloon get more fragile? :o...i'd be scared to touch it cuz it might pop and i get liquid nitrogen all over me :D
It is fragile when it is frozen, but after it thaws it returns to normal.
There's not liquid nitrogen inside the balloon [except for negligible amount of gas that liquefies as it is cooled] and there was liquid nitrogen running all over the counter there, so any that might have been in the balloon would not be a concern comparatively.
You wouldn't want to handle the balloon unprotected while it was frozen/shriveled, but after that it is safe.
I hesitate to share this because of liability. It isn't too hard to find a supplier, but most will not supply to minors nor will many sell it if you don't have the proper equipment to transport or handle it (primarily a dewar flask).
I purchased mine from a science supply catalog (probably Flinn Scientific which sells only to schools), but there are plenty of other science companies that sell such suppliers. The polyethylene one I have was probably around $150, but doesn't keep the LN2 as long as a more traditional Dewar flask.
I thought it would pop

@bv90andy It boils away before it gets there and I usually can't feel it through my shoes even if I pour directly on the floor.
