Ah Debelah I looked for this song a year ago and could not find out the name and yet I knew it was her.Played it again an hour ago from the movie originally Road Dogs. But as america so often and rudely does changed the title to Road Kings - 5/10 - Song - 9/10 -Debelah's voice 10/10 LOL Said to myself damn I am not giving up this time and here it was 10 minutes into looking.Thanks for sharing her and the song she is very precious as is the song.

That first album brings back so much memory. I enjoyed every song on that album. I never knew she came out with another album.

she is the perfect example that it is not about how talented you are but who you know in the industry. hitting the whistle register is hard enough, but very few ppl can acutually pronounce words in the whistle register. debelah, shanice, the late minnie ripperton, and i believe her name is georgia brown...a brazilian singer (on record as being able to hit the highest musical note)--well anyway they are the only ones who can pronounce words in the whistle.

She has done in on multiple occasions. Obviously you haven't heard her songs "Fly Like a Bird" or "Yours"

And more importantely, Shanice and Debelah's voices are connected! the other two have gigantic gaps between their belting and their whistle passing for an ugly falsetto that is nothing but air.
