T-Mobile is by far the best wireless company. They are the least expensive per amount of minutes and text messages and now with the G1, they own AT&T or Verizon any day. Verizon only has their shitty Blackberry phones.

I would say get the g1, it's AMAZING (I have one) and not only are the plans cheaper compared to iphone (total monthly cost) but the g1 has a feature advantage over the iphone in features such as the physical keyboard, voice dialing, etc. but hey, if you don't mind switiching carriers and paying out of your ass, go ahead and grab an iphone 3g.

The phone has to be unlocked in order for it to work on another network. There are various sites online that offer unlock services or you could call t-mobile and get the unlock code, BUT you probably couldn't get it without being a customer for a while. Check Google for unlocking services, but use them at your own risk.

it is slow but if you flash the rom it works so much faster its like a whole new phone and what they been by slow means it will freeze then it will take a minute or so to load something and it has low memory terrible momery you cant do anything but once flashed you can do anything even watch youtube videos

im not gonnna use the extra features on there..im deleting all of the extra programs on the phone except gps maybe...i just want to keep the regular programs so it can be like a regular phone..cept touch screen and qwerty keyboard for fast texting(mainly that) and nice design..as for gps i just think its cool..but all the excess programs im deleting for sure..like windows mobile 6, then it'll be a lot faster :]

They should have used a better procesor and included more RAM in the Wing. It has the same processor and same amount of RAM as the MDA but the MDA runs Windows Mobile 5 and runs it smoothly. They might as well tell us to hack the hell out of our Wings to get them to run smoothly.
