But I got to admit, this is one of the few animes where I thought the flashbacks were actually very good, leading to the pumping action that went on in the 2nd half of the show. I definitely reommend it, and also the characters actually do AGE and show it unlike some of these other animes where time goes by and besides a new set of clothes and a haircut they don't.
If there's one thing that surprises me about these kinds of anime, it's those points in the show where they actually show a character's physical appearance changing by cause of time's progression.

It's about two friends who join the Mafia. The main meat of the anime is all flashback, to fill in the massive plotholes.
