Azeroth is the only planet that they did not succeed in destroying it taking its vital energy. they are behind everything: the dark portal, the invasion of orcs in azeroth, the birth of the lich king, etc.. all atenpts to tear apart azeroth as the did to hundreds of planets, to bring chaos against the titans will of order.

There main goal is to have zero order an throw the entire universe in to complete chaos. Azeroth(WoW) is the only world they haven't been able to conquer.

Frost2899 No. Illidan was corrupted by the Skull of Gul'dan. Kil'jaeden offered him great power if he would destroy the Lich King (formerly created by the Legion but went out of control and the Legion wanted do destroy him. But Illidan failed and now he is hiding in Outlands at the Black Temple and The Legion is trying to kill him aswell undo the Titans work.

WoW hasn't yet to match half the power of storytelling Warcraft 3 gave, that's where WoW seriously fails. It had a great base to start with but over time it seems the method of the stories just gets weaker.

Lol, Warcraft lore. Actually, LOL blizzard writing. I think the only game they have ever done that had a decent story was starcraft, but anything else they have touched has spawned a ridiculous amount of poor novels and tokyo pop manga (look at starcraft: ghost academy, take a shot for every inconsistency and spat of poor writing)

Blizzard REALLY needs new writers, I mean check out Gaunt's Ghosts for WH40k as an example, high quality writing right there.
