This is really a crisis of the cradle in many ways, brought on by decades of feminism, and resulting plunges in birth rates, especially in western nations. We are buried and mired in debt in our aging decrepit nations now, imagine when the baby boomers start drawing on social services and pension plans. Add in the fact that our competitiveness has dropped with rampant quota hiring & promotion and you'll see mounting trade deficits build on debtor nations with no cash flow.
"looming US recession!?" "looming!!??" What are these media people smoking? WE'RE IN THE RECESSION and on the brink of the DEPRESSION. When we're in the depression, will we be in a recession 'then' I wonder?
