there's not a lot of Canadian hip hop really to talk about...this is good tho... love Gowan...brings back nostalgic 80's memories listening to Gowan... and this is a GREAT production of Gowan into hip hop...i love this cos it takes Gowan to a new genre and it works; sounds great

Yes, that was definitely Gowan in the video. I actually don't mind this track. And I consider Gowan's Criminal mind to be in my top 10 songs of all time, and at least top 2 by Canadian artists. Since almost by definition Rap tracks need an established hook in order to rap over it is not unexpected. And this choice is far better than anything that Flo Rida has chosen to borrow.
