@ AGR04 well, actually, heh your pretty much right, except for the part where Coraline looks down the well in the beginning of the movie, she drops a pebble through a hole in the lid. later, when they throw the key down the well, and seal it with the same lid. it shows a screen shot looking up at the lid from the inside; no longer is there a hole in the lid to drop a pebble through.
that's all i noticed, but this movie was very well done, i agree.
I wish they'd kept the rat song from the book; given the score they did on their own and what they did with Coraline's 'Twitchy Witchy Girl' song it could've been awesome-very creepy:
I spy on your lives through a little doll's eyes And see that you're not happy So, I'll lure you away with treasures And treats, And GAMES to play Give all that you ask, And when you still want more, I'll have to sew the buttons. I said I loved you, But I left you here And ate up your lives. Can you guess who I am? ☻_☻
I love how they say "mices" in this movie, instead of just "mice." It puts a bit of the childish aspect back into the film, but it's still as creepy as ever.
Congradulations! You have discovered a technique of music composition called "theme and variation". Especially with movies, characters and situations are given a "theme song" which is played when the character appears or situation encountered. To keep things from getting monotonous, several variations (different key or speed or a few notes altered) of the theme are created and used on and off thoughout. Often the character and situation themes are "woven" together as they were here.
@AGR04 ikr? and in her excitement she slips on the rug in the hall and slides across the floor in the livingroom! she's so cute! if you notice throughout the movie she always has a childish way of moving
Yay, another Coraline track! This was this creepiest track to me, for some reason. I like the other ones a bit better. The beginning is the only really strange part for me (0:09 - 0:15, especially), the rest is absolutely AMAZING. God, I love Bruno Coulais.

We have eyes and we have whiskers
We have tails and we have eyes
We were here before you fell
You will be here when we rise
We have eyes and we have nerveses
We have tails and we have teeth
You'll all get what you deserveses
When we rise from underneath
Or something like that...

@00ammy00 only reason I saw the movie, to see if they put it in. I was sad that they didn't, but the movie is plenty good without the song =)

I'd describe as a child's theme. Kind of playful. I think of toys, I dunno why haha
InvaderTaizic 2 years ago 3
@BioRoseCORP Actually ... childish tone , with a bitter of fear and happiness .... this is what I call a perfect Sound Track ..

Hey, has anyone noticed that most of these songs are really similar to the song in Ending Credits?
zowiewacamoli 2 years ago
Sometimes at the end of a movie they play the themes in the movie during the credits.

Coraline was so cute when she hopped into bed right after dropping the cheese by her bedroom door.
Totally what an excited little kid would look like. This movie is flawless I tell you.

@AGR04 Agreed. Kinda reminds me of when I was a little kid, when I would jump into bed on Christmas Eve... heh, good times.

does anybody know the instrument they used for the mice squeaking from :23-:27? Is it some percussion music?
glitteryYtiger 3 years ago
Its a percussion instrument..I can't remember what its called though. Haha..which is bad because I was played percussion throughout school.

Was this heard when the Other Bobinski fell apart and became the rats? (I haven't seen the movie yet, so this is just a question...)
reveriehill1614 3 years ago
no I think it's when Coraline puts the cheese at her doorway and then she chases the mice after they take it
