@KentuckyBrawler Follow the steps in my updated video and you should get everything back. Just make sure you enter your old information (like old email, NOT what he changed it too, old pass, old info) and you should get it back with no problems.

@anthonyboii121 Hackers change the gamertag names as well as your windows live ID name to try and throw off anyone trying to recover. If It is indeed your gamertag and your ID, just names changed, then you can change them back by using Microsoft points for the gamertag and the hotmail website for the name.
(2) In the subject box type: gamertag you want to hack
(3) In the message box type( your actual windows live ID and Password, as i have seen people type {YOUR WINDOWS LIVE ID} and so on, it will not work if you do that)::

@Gixmock For some reason i got the same problem when trying. I logged into an old hotmail account i have and then retried and it seems to be working. I suggest creating a new hotmail account, sign into it, and then retry the form process. Plus you can use the new hotmail account as the one you wish to be contacted at if you don't have another. The only other thing i can think of is going back through the process from their main account and see if it still gives you the error. Hope this helps.

@HiteCube well if you were able to change the pass on the email itself then all you have to do is recover your account on your dashboard. All you do is type in the email and then the new pass in the recover your gamertag option, and you should be able to recover it without any problems.

@MagnusTheSnake It is possible that they don't know your email and pass from just stealing your xbox. So you should be able to just recover through the regular option on the xbox dashboard. If they indeed found out your email and pass, this will help you with that.
If you go to xbox.com and search for file transfer, you will be able to transfer the license for the old arcade games, gamer pics, avatar awards, or anything you purchased to your new xbox. Hope this helped.

I dont know what this sick guy wants with my stuff but when I tried your method, the windows guy responded and said that he didnt believe that I was me, so he didnt give me the password, I am still trying to negotiate with this guy so he can stop the id thief. why do the guys do this stuff.

Once you fill out that form, you will get your email back (the new email name if changed) and you will be able to change the password to it. Then you just go on your xbox and recover your tag with the new email and pass.

@Gixmock For some reason i got the same problem when trying. I logged into an old hotmail account i have and then retried and it seems to be working. I suggest creating a new hotmail account, sign into it, and then retry the form process. Plus you can use the new hotmail account as the one you wish to be contacted at if you don't have another.
