one of the best bands to ever be on a stage in the whole history of Music. They are classic! amazing mix of pure pop and brains. Intelligent life in pop music. Tracey and Ben Watt have that too and were blessed with world wide hits, well deserved, but, Prefab Sprout is simply magic, all those beautiful melodies packed with perfect chords, incredible arrangements. They may have not reached same startdoom as EBTG but they were successful too. I owe them a lot of inspiration, Love Forever Prefab!

I am a huge funk soul jazz fan and thats the music i have always listened to but sometimes a band or a musician takes you away from your genre simply because they are genuinely amazing both musically and lyrically etc. Not many bands do it that for me but the sprout it with no probs.

A fantastic pop song from the pen of a genius writer. Prefab Sprout is much more than great music, it's also sublime art that will stand the test of time. I can remember hearing this at the age of eighteen and being blown away by how good it was. Now I'm 40, it sounds just as good. I'm glad their music has been part of the soundtrack to my life. Why the band were never massive around the globe,I will never understand. All those who know and appreciate the band are indeed very fortunate.
