  • how can i played in my pc iahev this game but cant play it

  • it's essentially a slightly better looking version of WWF Royal rumble for Genesis

  • графика дерьмо, несмотря на то, что это CD. Хотя Wrestlemania the arcade game была на картридже, эта какашка и рядом не валялась!

  • goddamn i want another sega again!!..love that hedgehog sound...those were the games back in the day when i was 5 n shyt..damn its been almost 2 decades

  • I guess they cancelled the sequal, WWF Painus in Your Anus

  • wow they just recycled the menu song and the themes from WWF Royal Rumble

  • @AmericanBulldog18 Not just that, but the SNES versions of the songs at that. The irony is priceless.

  • Yeah, loved this game. Played it the whole day as child

  • lol at Kimala pinning a guy on his stomach

  • "The Ugandan giant, Kamala!" "Hurrrrrr....yurrrrrghhhhh.." *fap fap fap* "uuhhhhhhhh"

    "Uh...folks, we're going to a commercial break."

  • "The Ugandan giant, Kamala!" "Hurrrrrr....yurrrrrghhhhh.." *fap fap fap* "uuhhhhhhhh"

    "Uh...folks, we're going to a commercial break."

  • "The Ugandan giant, Kamala!" "Hurrrrrr....yurrrrrghhhhh.." *fap fap fap* "uuhhhhhhhh"

    "Uh...folks, we're going to a commercial break."

  • OK FUCK I DONT CARE ABOUT THE FUCKING INTRO NEXT TIME get to the gameplay right away

  • They still could have done a better job....i think they could now...knowing what they know now!

  • @hhhogannwo YES LAZY PROGRAMMERS wrestlefest was out 3 yrs before this and that was great !

  • This game had SO many damned wrestlers. Back in the day, a selection like this game had was amazing.

  • Why Midi tunes? This is Sega CD -_-

  • i dare say they could have done a little bit better on the sega cd, but like people are saying.. its old and games only got good through competition of the monday night wars... up untill then , they were just WWf's version's of fighting games in a ring.

  • classic wwf.... man these were the days

  • All this is was WWF Raw w/ voice overs and shitty FMV...

  • If you want my opinion, it's games like this that really killed the Sega Mega CD. As you all know, the Mega CD actually had some great titles, like Snatcher, Shining Force CD, Final Fight CD, and of course, Sonic CD. So I blame the death of the Mega CD on two things:

    1.It cost too much.

    2.Mega Drive remakes.

3.Any game that had to do with full-motion video.

So take my word for it, the Mega CD had some great titles. The only problem is, there's so many bad ones, and only a few good ones.

  • I got this game as a kid. Took it back to the store when i found out NO TAG TEAM MATCHES!! haha. I was so mad.

  • @DavidStenbeck Did this have battle royal mode either?

  • @DavidStenbeck Which was the dumbest thing considering they had the Nasty Boys, Headshrinkers, and Money Inc.

  • Also, is the FMV supposed to impress me? Because it looks horrendous! Seriously, the Sega CD can do better than this!

  • @M4R14NO94

without any criticism, the game was really entertaining for wrestling fans who had the option to buy it back in the day, mainly because it had entrances and the FMV's, whether it was crappy or not... there was nothing at the time to compare this to... it was new... and it was cool. You cannot possibly compare this to any other wrestling game except for Raw and Royal Rumble.

  • @GamingPalooza yea your right i remember this being one of the first games for the sega cd at the time and this game was the shit. i remember loving raw is war and royal rumble and when this came out it was the best it had alot more characters to pick from and it had a steal cage option.

  • @M4R14NO94

it's the genesis it's vdp on it's lamest.

  • @M4R14NO94 it was just a sega genesis with a cd-rom drive... and this game was the best game EVER - I think me and my friends wore out two sets of joypads before we got bored with it lol

  • Something from the past isn't usually made with the purpose of impressing people from the future you idiot...

  • @Gmancrap Yes, I know that, but what I'm saying is that other Sega CD games released around the same time had better FMV quality than the ones on this game.

  • 0:13

You can tell this is just a recycle of Royal Rumble by seeing that they mention Flying Edge, despite the fact that Rage in the Cage was published by Arena.

  • how is the annoucing on this better than what we get today

  • Comment removed

  • If there was a WWE version of the senior tour like PGA they all would qualify hehe!

  • They took out the Royal Rumble for that weird looking cage match? :O At least Fink knew back then how to announce in a video game, unlike the present day announcers who sound like they are reading a letter to their grandmas!

  • @elrealisator Even worse is the fact that they didn't include any tag team modes. What the hell? Tag team modes were already a given for games back then, and Royal Rumble (which this is basically a port of) had them, but they're not in this game. I mean, you put the Headshrinkers, Nasty Boys, and Money Inc in the game but no tag team mode for them? What were they thinking? Did they run out of the time needed to plug it over from Royal Rumble's coding? Lame.

  • I didn't know Shawn Michaels was a tax cheat.

  • @Roguemember what do you mean??

  • this is royal rumble with voices fmvs and a full roster

  • its better then smackdown vs raw lol

  • Is Rage in the Cage the only WWF/WWE title not names after an event?

  • nope, WWF Day of Reckoning on Gamecube... WWF Betrayal on gameboy color... WWF Micro League Pro Wrestling on DOS

  • wan't Betrayal named after the moniker of an event though?

  • not sure, I dont recall there being an event named Betrayal by WWF

  • @GamingPalooza Wasn't there a WWF Steel Cage Challenge on NES, dont think there was an even named that?

  • @hundoe100

Ya, WWF Wrestlemania Steel Cage Challange

There was 3 Wrestlemania games on NES, which is confusing.

  • @GamingPalooza DOS?

  • @JWWheatley

yup, older PC computers used DOS, which is what existed before Windows.

  • great!

  • the dtc fanboys should gtfo
