these early R & R 78's are collectables. some are worth alot of money. you've got a great song here and it's nice to see someone else playing records. unfortunately these 78's break easily. thanks for the video & merry x-mas
Well, it SHOULD be! I mean, this is the definitive version. It was recorded on October 29, 1957 at the Bradley Film and Recording Studio in Nashville, TN with Bobby Helms as the lead vocalist (of course), Hank "Sugarfoot" Garland on lead guitar, Bob L. Moore on bass, Murray M. "Buddy" Harman, Jr. on drums, and the Anita Kerr Singers singing backup. It is certainly a GREAT recording!
Both 78, 45 and 33 (12 inch Records) were made for this song. From what I heard they made 78's until 1959. There are some rare Beatles out there that were made in India in the 1960's. Maybe others.

made out of hard vynul or styrene are more durable..

They Were Made In The U.S. Until About 1960-61 And In India Until About 1966.Those Batles 78s You Mentioned Were Presumebly Made In Canada.
