  • I followed your recipe and made the Banana Ice cream, its now in the freezer ... I am controlling myself not to open it :P it smelt Amazing .... Huhhh I have to wait for another 7 hrs to let it freeze :(((

  • How long did you blend the mixture together??

  • How could you make a chocolate ice cream?

  • @AlterBridgeAndA7X Check out my "Chocolate Ice Cream" video in the "Desserts" playlist on my channel page ;)

  • i LOVE your voice !

  • what happens if you dont seal the top when you freeze it?

  • I have been trying to find a good video on a simple ice cream recipe for the past so many days ... Now I feel I could stop my hunt for other recipes also ... The way you teach is so good and simple, hence I have now subscribed for your channel .... Thanks bro ! :)

  • thanks! I will try this in the summer.

  • when you say "use fresh cream..." Do you mean light whipping cream, heavy whipping cream, or table cream? That's what they have in the Shoprite supermarkets, around my neighborhood. - Philadelphia, PA, U.S

  • @ladysoy Heavy Whipping Cream works best, but any cream suitable for whipping will work ;)

  • I like the way you talk so nice :)

  • you are awesome man! im going to use fresh coconut, yeah!

  • Love your cooking btw is so simple and delicious.

  • Ps. turmeric will give it a yellow, golden color instead of beige, lil pleasure for the eyes.

  • I recommend to put in dark chocolate bits turned in rum, walnuts, bananas and turmeric, sugar, vanilla and the rest you did. Thanks for the idea.

  • wouldn't just freezing it in a container turn out a block of ice instead of fluffy ice cream?

  • Thank you so much =DD

  • Can I use 2 cups of whipped cream instead

  • I did it but you don't have to add milk; just whipping cream is enough! I added vanilla essential oil or lemon oil and it is simply perfect!.. Better than Haagen Daaz!!!

  • I'll just go ahead and add some Nutella to that, shall I? YUM YUM YUM

  • Bananer

  • Would homo milk work in substitution for the cream and 2% milk for the regular milk? its all I have right now :$

  • @stellarbeauty05 You need to use cream ;)

  • Hi Chef! great videos :)! I'm from Peru and my english is not that good :( what do u mean by cream? I know the exact translation but it doesn't make sense for me hahaha do u mean like a creamy milk or something like that? thank u!!! :)

  • @blankita1525 Cream is the fat that is skimmed off the whole milk during the process of making skim milk and is the liquid used to make butter and whipped cream.

  • @blankita1525 crema, si lo q estas pensando

  • this does not work! i tried it, and it had a ton of frozen icecrystals in it! FORGET THIS Recipe! use only cream and bananas, and it will work. NO Milk!

  • @ploetzlich30 ... you probably did something wrong then... cuz mine worked and it was delicious

  • @anitam202 i did the same thing he did. the result: A TON of ice lumps. i had to throw it back in the mixer, and sucked it in as a shake! this recipy does NOT work!

  • @ploetzlich30 Did you use full fat milk?

  • @mattoni007 yes. i used a cup (200ml) or 3,5% Milk, and a cup of cream (30% fat). it did not work. now i experimented a bit, and just used cream and NO milk. works much better.

  • WOW!!

  • thanks for the simple and easy way of making the ice cream... :-D

  • Wow, that's really simple! I thought you had to stir it while freezing. Thanks so much for this.

  • You always have the best recipes! Thank you for sharing! =)

  • is light cream okay?

  • @won0131 You can use any cream suitable for whipping ;)

  • I don't know why I didn't sub you a while ago. I come past your videos all the time and have made a few myself and loved them. thanks for sharing your recipes have a blessed day!

  • Coooooool man

  • is unflavored half and half ok?

  • is it ok to use evaporated milk?

  • @tryingnothard If you like ;)

  • @OnePotChefShow Can i use half and half instead of heavy cream?

  • I like the other one you made with chocolate. Looked way nicer when you added condensed milk. TBH this one looks a bit icy. I've noticed its almost impossible to make a home-made ice cream recipe without it being a little icy unless you have a soft-serve ice cream machine - but your newer icecream recipe looked really amazing and not icy at all! GW! Hope renovations are well on their way and theres not much trouble.. there usually is when it comes to renovations hahaha (bad experience myself :P)

  • ...my blender wouldn't even blend the bananas

  • thanks for the recipe! i do it a little bit different - i freeze the banana's or other 'flavoring' that i like the ice cream. then i pore to the blander the frozen fruits/chocolate etc. and add yogurt 3.5 % fat.

bliz for 30 sec. if need to add sugar add 1/4 cup if not then dont. it is within seconds ready and it is goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood! enjoy !!

  • Thank you, I like this recipe : )

  • hey man after getting it out of the freezer thats it? u dont have to blend it anymore? another thing egg yolks are not neccesary?

  • how do I fix whip that has melted? (the bottle ones)

  • Are you from Australia or New Zealand...?

  • thank you now i can make ice cream >_<

  • Don't you get sick eating all those sweets? And thank you for the help.

  • @hellogoodbye760 I do cook other things - check out my 180+ cooking videos ;)

  • i already hav a cream suitable for whipping. Im confused with the kind of milk to use though

  • @aehraiza You can use full cream milk or skim milk. Either will work fine ;)

  • Which one would be more appropriate: evaporated creamer, evaporated filled milk, condensed milk? If i dnt have whole milk here?

  • @aehraiza None of them. Use milk and cream. See the video description for full ingredients and tips ;)

  • whats a substitute for vanilla? Can it be honey?

  • @aehraiza You can leave the vanilla out if you don't have it ;)

  • can i use all purpose cream as a cream? Or just a simple cream for this ice cream?

  • @aehraiza Use any cream suitable for whipping ;)

  • can you make some more vegan vegetarian recipes? thank you. (:

  • thanks

  • Just wondered if it is possible to substitute with soy milk or something as i am dairy intolerant and really want a fix of green tea ice cream!

  • No churning?~

  • some idiot told me that m fat so i cant be a CHEF ... but after watching YOU .. HELL YEAH m gonna b a CHEF one day !

  • i just love your recipes! thanks for posting..

  • I have a question..Is it okay if I use butter vanilla extract?

  • the display picture sorta looks like a bowl of mushrooms

  • @OnePotChefShow when i make my icecream, its not soft even after leaving it at the side. what did i do wrong? should the mixture be thick after blending it? did i use not enough cream? pls reply.

  • Thank you very much

  • noooooooooooyou didn't scrape the sides of the cream cup!!! ahhh!

hahaha, but other than that, this is so cool!

  • The 'one pot' concept is very popular in Jamaica-we do it a lot- with almost anything ^^

  • Can we use other type of fruit??? Thanks.

  • I tried it yesterday. It tasted like frozen milk at best. Nothing like ice cream. Pure disappointment

  • can i use a blender for this?

  • I bet this guy gets all the women.

  • yummy.. i will try .. :)

  • " Now your going to add 2 cups of fresh cream, ohhh yum yum yum-- now your going to add two cups of milk---silence--" lol

  • Thankyou for this... im tierd of spending money on somthing so simple...

  • I tried this myself but didn't turn out as good. It tastes ok, but it was "icy" and wasn't as smooth as ice cream. I did exactly what the steps were, but is there something I didn't do right?

  • @tenorsaxplayer77 I think you can't' do anything the original and genuine ice cream has no chemical agents in it and has the icy particles..it's just genuine, I think that's a good thing..

  • O...MG!!! Recipe is really simple!!! I'm going to try it in a short time~~~ Really thanks, One Pot Chef!!! ^^...

  • pause at 0:10

  • @AG67891 HAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAAHHAHAAHHHAHA

  • Yes, but will it blend?

  • Is it possible to use powdered flavourings (e.g. Green Tea powder)? I really want to make Green Tea ice-cream but I'm not sure if it would work or not (:

  • @JenniferleFTtinabui That should be fine, as long as the powdered flavoring can dissolve in a cold mixture (doesn't need hot water etc) it should dissolve into the ice cream mix ;)

  • @JenniferleFTtinabui

you probably already know this since you asked, but green tea ice cream is AWESOME i had it in japan, BEST ICE CREAM EVER.

  • Can you write down the recipe?

  • @qannashawol check the description

  • that looks great bud! I'm going to make that for new years eve. merry christmas!!!

  • Thanks a lot for the video. Could do say that this icecream is as good as Häagen-Dazs?

Can I use other fruts , like apple, pears, mangos, or mixing chocolate with coconout powder, or doing 2 fruits together like banana and strawberry?

I will try it out, and then I will tell you how it was. Thanks again.

  • Your ice cream is so delicious that you became such a bodily shape.

  • omg thank you! gonna do this tomorrow :D

  • THANKS A LOT! And btw, I love your eyes! =D

  • @avatarpeople2000

He's an Aussie, not a Brit! Very different accent.

  • Its funny,

With your English accent you say bananas like "bananers"

  • i love your videos!

  • i love how you say over night! :)

  • you and I have the same blender, lol

  • put oreos in it

  • Your good at cooking :D

  • sorry, is it a must to use heavy cream, can't i change it with other like may be whipping cream ?and one more, will it be like hard to scoop, as i watch you chocolate ice cream, you seem to scoop with so much power, till your hands are red.

  • I'd rather this shit than normal ice cream, because a lot of the normal ice cream you get today has very little cream at all, in fact most of them include "modified milk ingredients" which have little to no cream

  • 60 who dislike this .. they POUR too much milk = not gooey !!

  • I really really love ice-cream

    I can't live without ice-cream.Whoah,making ice-cream myself is great.

  • You belong on the Food Network. I would watch your show religiously. This needs to happen.

  • where can i get the cream??? i've never seen it in any store....

  • @loveless0097

You've seriously never seen "cream" in a grocery store? It will be either by the milk, half and half, or by the yogurts and tub cheeses.

  • @loveless0097 Lol where do you live?

  • @loveless0097 well u can get in some dairy or anywhere u get milk n milk product you can also make at home by heating milk(try not use skimmed/fat free) and leting it stand at room temprature you will find a thick layer of cream ontop and keep it in freezer to get set. hope it was helpful !!!!!

  • @SeraLeeSueXin nothing... bananas are bananas ...

  • Also I'd like to recommend a flavor. Mix 2 cups cream, 2 cups milk, 3/4 cups suhar, 1/2 cup cocoa powder, 1 espresso shot (standard size) and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Blend. Excellent coffee/frappuchino/espresso ice cream. I tweaked the recpie alot, it's perfect as above.

  • @HoLLiStERbAbE0167 thank you, exactly what I needed. I suppose that is what an ice cream machine does, no? But we aren't using one, so that makes sense! I will thaw it some and mix it and re-freeze, next batch I will stir every few hours! Thank you very much!

  • I made this and it tastes delicious but the texture is wrong. It freezes in the freezer and feels like freezer burnt ice cream and not normal soft ice cream. Any ideas how to combat that?

  • @luisvarca Mix the ice cream mixture every couple of hours. It breaks up the ice crystals and gives it a smoother and creamier mixture :)

  • Hello. I just made mine. It turned out great. Thank you so much for making this tutorial.

  • how long can i keep it?

  • @WooBXvids As long as you would keep normal ice cream in the freezer ;)

  • @OnePotChefShow what if you don't add syrup?? would it be okay?? pls reply as soon as possible..

  • Can I use vanilla extract? PLEASE REPLY

  • @CutePetLuvrs Yes, you can use Vanilla Extract ;)

  • YOU ARE GREAT

  • What is cream and where can I get it?

  • OMG! I love you for making this video...... :-D

  • Ahhhh It's like a smoothie that u freeze. Thanks for this! i reallly love ice cream. :)

  • I love your videos :)

  • I think that if you tossed the frozen iced cream back into the blender for a bit and then froze it again it wouldn't be so icy. Haven't tried it, though, so I couldn't say for sure.

  • Ooooohhhh YUM YUM YUM YUMMM

  • British accent !!!!!!!!!:)

  • @NunezAndrea

    Australian, good morning?

  • @TRXforces ohh sorry i like your accent
