dude just search high amp alternator on google and you can find multiple sites that sell alternators that produce up to 500 amps for all types of vehicles

hi steve and steve here from texas. sorry for being dumb on my part. but could you please tell me is the alternater is AC or DC.? i need a 220 AC alternater. does DB Electrical make a AC ? it can be done. thank you so much.

@imthefrogman  All alternaters are 3 phase A/C out put. IF you open them up and disconect the diodes.

Hey Steve,

Nice find on the alternator! One thing about plugging it up. On the flat plug in (regulator), make sure you you upgrade the wire size there, and coat it real good with dielectric grease to keep the plug from over heating. You can get the upgraded wiring harness kit at your local parts store. If you don't have competent parts people, go to Napa, they'll know. Good luck.

you can also get 200 amp v-belt alternators off of 73-79 big cadillac's for serpentine the 80's model cadillacs work. the great thing about the chevy style is it is a one wire [actually 2] install!!!! nice....scott

sweet they put on the overdrive pulley on. that means 100+ amps at idle :) if the new pulley is smaller its overdriven. Also most of the time the cases are factory everything else is new.
