MGM put together a Montage for one of its somewhat recent Anniversaries (it played on a DVD set of Gone with the Wind). As you seem to be an expert, any idea where I could find it (online or otherwise?). Random...but maybe you or someone else knows.
I may be wrong but i watched the 2 montage -congratulations on this amazing work by the way! - but i think there is one missing quote : "What a dump!"(Bette Davis) and i'm not sure the James Stewart part in 3:17 is on AFI's top quotes.
That's correct. I wrote that in my description. Of all the quotes that's the only one which doesn't have a DVD release so I had to use an alternative. But I've recently obtained a VHS version of Beyond the Forest which contains Bette Davis's "What a dump!" quote, so I'll be changing that in the near future.
I've always resented Bette because of the way she hogged the camera & time allocation when she presented Robert Redford with his first Oscar, for Ordinary People. By the time she finished her own little speech, Redford could only say "thank you" over the "play them off the stage" music.
I always thought Barbara Stanwyck was a better actress, too. (Nevermind the OFTEN repeated rumor that they disliked each other because Davis turned down Stanwyck's sexual advances, but who knows...).
That segment on 3:20 is actually part of the rest of the song composed by Randy Edelman. You can find the song - and more specifically, the part you're talking about - under different titles: The World of Heart, Dragonheart: Main Themes, or Finale from Dragonheart.
BionicPepsi, watch Casablanca again, but this time, turn on the subtitles. I didn't get it either until I turned them on, and now, it's one of my all-time favorites.

These were all memorable, but there needs to be an updated version even from AFI. Some of the great quotes from Tombstone have got to be included.
