Great Britain was the first to create tubes & the underground, yet Britain (not Great any more I supposed!) just comes to a grinding halt with only a few cm of snow. Pathetic! Spend billions in illegal war to invade & occupy foreign countries but cannot afford a few millions to buy much needed snow ploughs. This is one typical example of Disaster Capitalism!!!
driver in black car going uphill, y do people pull off in first gear on ice or snow and wheel spin and make it more slippery for others?? its common sense to pull off in the highest gear possible so you don't wheel spin. duh.
Take it from me this bus is not stuck, I know this as I'm a bus driver. What the driver has done here is stop the bus as he thinks the road ahead is too dangerous. You can see he has turned his wheel into the curb to stop the bus from sliding down the hill. Better stop the bus than risk one hell of an accident, or just say that so you can stop the bus and have a smoke break :D
We used to skive off school from Corrpus Christi on Gwendolen Road and push cars up this hill for half a crown a time back in the 60's when it snowed a lot worse than this. Very lucrative!!!!!!!
To claim this is the first bus to ever get stuck in the snow is ridiculous. Flagged for misleading text.
