people forget, and it's something nick says, "the act who advances with have a closer shot at 1 million dollars and a CHANCE to perform in a vegas act." the vegas part isn't official, and really, i don't believe it should be in as a prize, as some acts, who have more talent then others, do not go through for this reason. this is a talent. he has to hit it at the right angel, everything has to go right or he can die. a great act and will watch him again.

i'm going to be honest: yeah it's a very dangerous thing to do, it could kill him and it's a big jump and everything...but i don't find it very impressive or something worth a million dollars. the judges keep saying that they are looking for an act that could headline a show, and well, i don't think a guy jumping into a pool of water could be a headlining act. that's my opinion.

You misunderstood my sentence. I said that his attempt at breaking the WORLD RECORD was unfair to those before him as he had a gym mattress that could absorb most of his fall under him. Obviously, the show put the mattress for security. But it does not qualify as a world record attempt. Also, the show shouldn't have this act in the first place if it is supposed to be that dangerous. And yes, there have been many acts before which had high risk of death (eg circular saw, nail bed, etc)
