  • You've got Vogue L.D.E. 161, and some other classics! There's a chap who knows his jazz.

  • If anyone ever sounded like Bunk it was the early Collyer. Just an aside. When at Leeds Uni about 1954 or 55 I had a group and a very bearded slide TB Eddie O'Donnell (I think?) played with us when not with Collyer. A boozer. Filled a beer bottle with urine and gave it to one of the guys. I was a teetotaller TG.

  • I went to see Ken play at the City Hall, Leeds, when I was a teenager.

  • That bone player Avison, sounds great on this track! I'm going to have to hear more of that guy!

  • There's only one Ken!! Brings back a lot of memories. Thanks for the post.

  • A very valued addition to Kens memory. Can we add to oot KC Trust Web Site?

from Alan Bonney of the KC TRUST

  • I just bought a machine (£120 in PC World) to put my LPs onto the PC via a USB lead (supplied) so watch out for more KC - sadly no video!

  • Niiiice!

  • Yes - The line-up is right at the end of the video.

  • Hello al, Just noticed you became a subscriber of my site. My compliments on your compilation. sounds like Colin Bowden on drs. He came last month on a cruise with my former Climax Band. Ken played a few weeks in 1974 and 1975 with us. He is the best!!

  • Thanks a lot for this.
