What was the point of posting this game? Really terrible play. Even a patzer like me could have done better. There's really no benefit to posting it, much less analyzing it.
Agreed, we must focus on it soon! I have to disagree with your opinion about Anand - he's far from boring! Did you see him playing Kramnik in 2008 for the World Title? Fireworks! Also he is a great guy and a gentleman. I agree totally with your opinion of Topalov, however - and for the above reasons I am 100% behind Vishy. Roll on April!
It must feel great to be so good in the game as to want to mess up a tournament encounter just for kicks, offer a chivalrous draw, etc. :D Surely, a very amusing show this, and a good material for the last video of this very nice coverage you presented us with, Sean :)
I enjoyed myself really well, and I'm glad to have discovered your channel -- I'm planning to check out your earlier videos. Thanks!
Oh my bad, misheard your introduction. Anyways, I wonder how the future of this teenager is gonna look like. I would love to see him adding some spices to the legendary legacy of Kasparov with novelty of his own.
In any case Sean, thank you very much for this outstanding follow-up of this eventful tournament. All the support, keep it coming!
A fitting final choice, and an interesting line to have ready against the Petroff in a Blitz tournament. Certainly puts a new twist on the term "Grandmaster Draw"
Clearly Short was just messing around here. LOL I love it! It's great to see that even at this level someone can still play the game for the shear enjoyment and just mess around with someone. Kudos to Short! Excellent!
Certainly looked like they were just having some fun. :) Congratulations to Carlsen, hoping for more spectacular performances from him throughout the year

SeanGGodley: we must focus all our attention on the upcoming World Championship.
Anand is boring as hell, but at least he is a man of honour.
We must never forget the disrespect which Topalov's jumped up stooge Cheparinov showed to Nigel Short.
This disregard for the Anglosphere is shocking. I regard it as a personal insult against both the Queen, and the Union Jack itself.
The malevolent and putrescent animus of the Bulgarian camp dictates our response. The enemy of our enemy is our friend.
