@penningtononlinebiz Personally I'm not very fond of copper due to it not being a "monetary" standard metal like Government issued American Eagle Gold & Silver coins. If you want Copper I would just stick with copper companies like FreePort MacMoran Copper & Gold. Copper is also priced on industrial demand. So if we have a currency crisis and the world economy's crash, copper will get crushed also. Good luck. Karl

Karl, when the dollar goes and you make all of these massive gains. Do you really expect a society to be left over to be secure in? The way I see it these gains will have to be immediately used to try and secure enough physical security to survive into what ever comes after. In that "after" I fully expect to see a Soviet style government coming to collect on what you have left. I would love to hear an scenario that has us getting rich and everyone else not dying of starvation and war.

@Survival4theFamily I will be getting out well before the "VERY" end. Usually you will have time to take profits from your positions. Then use those profits to buy assets like homes in cash, businesses, land, etc... Life will not end after a currency collapse, but millions of people will just get wiped out and loose their life savings including pensions based in US Dollars. American's will then get up and start over living life and working again. This has happened before in history.

@bullorbearreport Karl, I 100% agree that this has happened in the past. With today's society of glut and excess. Even if food and services were down for 60 days, how many people would die and what would the cities look like once the looting was over? In the last depression there were family farms and today they are gone and we import most of our everyday foods. This collapse will be like nothing before. 99% of the people will incapable of feeding themselves within 2 weeks.

This would only happen if it was a sudden collapse. The truth is we are being boiled right now and don't realize it yet consciously. This is controlled and done in a slow manner so you don't wake up crazy one day. This is a slow collapse that helps people not to go insane.

@wakeupitshere Personally I don't buy copper because it's not a standard investment and might be hard to sell in the future.. Unlike government issued American Eagle Gold & Silver coins. Internationally known and easy to sell any hour of the day.

One of the best geologist in the world is running it as well (robert quartermain). I like Endeavor as well. Check out Pretium though and look at the chart. I no longer deal with stocks after MF global, but Pretium seems to be a great company with MASSIVE gold in the ground.

The 401K is a waste over the long haul. People dont realize you need to manage it to make money off of it. I max my 401K contribution because I understand the tax benefits of it and consistently trade it, during a stock rally I reinvest it into cash if I sense a correction, once a correction comes I put it back into a DOW 30 fund, repeat. Most people think a 401k are like magic beans and will make them multi-millionaires. Hand it to WS on a great job convincing people they are magic beans.
