  • Good job, man. Keep up the good work. I've been doing pushups with my feet elevated while wearing a 70lb vest. I haven't been doing claps (or even triple claps) though. I don't think I could do what you're doing. Good job. Stay committed to self improvement and forget what these trolls are saying.

  • That is the improper way of doing, but then again this is nearly impossible with legs close together. The legs spread out like that help keep you in air longer, but they cannot sustain the weight in such an awkward position that you begin to fall back down. Watch the video again and look at the slight pause when he pushes himself. His feet also almost flatten out completely~ Good work though, you were doing it with 40lbs keep it up :D!

  • I'm not trollin' I swear but legs spread takes no skill as in I push myself to stand up from doing it but feet together is the real deal which isn't really that hard. You did have weights on though so I give you props. Keep it up.

  • If you put your legs together you'll increase the distance from your hands to the pivot point at your toes. This will force you to have to produce greater torque to get the same result...even without a weight vest.

  • with all the respect, but the more you open up the legs the easier the move will be! The legs were too wide open, which pretty much removes 60% of the power needed for the flying burst!

    I'm only saying this cuz ive done it with loegs opened and closed, and ive seen the diff!

  • weird question, what could you possibly need to do 3 claps during a pushups for? it just makes the actually pushup that much harder taking away from the basic pushups. i could understand doing 1 for plymetric and explosiveness purposes but how can added 2 more claps do anything except tire you out more?

  • Dude, can you tell me if those weight vests are any good for jogging. I'm planning on buying one, or maybe more. My main concern is, are they comfortable while running?? Do they bounce up and down a lot??

  • Hi RobindeV - make sure you get one with adjustable velcro straps; then u can make it tight as you like for stability. But be careful of impact on your knees; try to run on sand/grass. Cheers marcus.
