  • mine frontier had the same squeaks to ,i put grease on them and its gone for good:)

  • Cool

  • why did you sell it

  • hahahahahaha ................awesome ! sure footed like a mountain goat :D

  • did you go to mt baldy last snow of 09?

seen a frontier just like yours

  • @JosephMBoyer Nah, wasn't me. I sold the truck in November of '09 but it could have been my buyer that was up there.

  • nismo then pro 4x?

  • @wilnoy Correct! The Nismo Offroad Package was renamed the Pro4x Package recently.

  • @NismoCC i wonder why it has different names... like in the US it is Pro 4x then the rest of the world it is named navara.... btw, are your leaf springs squeaks too?

  • @wilnoy That is a good question for the Marketing folks at Nissan. I am sure they decided to name it differently in an effort to appeal to different international markets in different ways. About the leaf springs.. Yes this used to squeak and drive me crazy. I found that if I kept them clean and blasted them with some high pressure water they would not squeak until the next time I took the truck offroad.

  • very nice!

  • @calspeed1 Thank you very much!

  • Cool

  • @grandotitat The weather was a little cool too. Thanks!

  • nice

  • @hummerh3md Thanks!

  • @albaroingrid08

HAHAHA!!! So true... We use our vehicles which include a 2002 Toyota Land Cruiser and a 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser to get out and see some of the most amazing areas in and around Arizona. Most people have never and will never see some of these areas. I wouldn't change any of it. Those scratches are just part of the great memories...

  • Where did you get the toolbox?

  • @hoodified12

That is not a tool box. It is a large plastic tub that I secure in the bed with ratchet straps when we go out 4wheeling, exploring, ad camping. They can be had for about $15-$25 at most stores and they work great!

  • My wife and I both have 1962 Willys hers is the wagon mine the pickup each one is one is needed just to get to our house on our property at about 7,500 foot elavation each have3"lifts -BFG-Ko's-lockers-533 gears 2.90 -1 transfers top speed with the 35's 1st gear low is 3 mph the still both have there flat 226 sixes and can out most new 4's made now.

  • @playtimel

Sounds very nice!! Those are great Jeeps...

  • Correct just because someone has a nice looking truck does not mean it needs dents and scratches to prove they have been off roading it's called using it not abusing it. When off road most insurance companies will not cover body damage if it's a least truck it has no bussiness off road unless u have the bucks to pay for the damage and some of u guys must not no u can four wheel without body damage.

  • @playtimel

4wheeling without body damage is easy. None of my vehicles have body damage that I am not able to repair myself and I am not a auto body expert by any means. Most of all, our vehicles have scratches from the brush and trees you encounter on the trails. We are not the type of people to go out and trim brush around the trails just so we can get through without scratches. That is pathetic that anyone would do that since you are now damaging the environment for your own selfish desires.

  • That's totally true. Use it! Otherwise, you might as well just drive an Altima or something. Truck looks great, and the way it scaled that slippery wet rock.... impressive!

  • @VolkswagenNut1969

Thanks man! It was slippery and all the white stuff you see around on the ground was actually hail from the big thunderstorm that had just past. It is all about the tires and rear locking differential.

  • Very impressive! I truly thought you were stuck when your back tires started slipping. Whats really more impressive, the rock looked wet.

  • @tuberidin

Indeed, it was very wet and slippery. The tires and the rear locking differential is what got me up the hill. That and a smooth throttle... Thanks!

  • why would anyone want to abuse their truck like that???

  • HA! Why would this be considered abuse? I am proud to say that I have used my truck in manners in which it was intended to be used unlike many people who drive them like they are million dollar Bentley. My truck is in great shape without a single problem or cosmetic defect and I love it!

  • Very well said Nismo. It's a truck - USE IT.

  • Well, I got me a frontier, SE. What is the major difference between the nismo and the se? Are the engines the same?

  • I think it's the bilstein shocks? maybe im not sure

    I have a 05 Nismo 4x4 with locking rear

2.5inch (I think the guy in the vid has same lift)

    BF goodrich all terrain tires

great truck haven't had anything wrong

    120k miles

  • nvm I don't think he has a lift lol

  • @JosephMBoyer

    Check out my "Specs" post...

  • @JosephMBoyer Specs on the truck, and yes it has a 3 inch lift: - 2007 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab 4x4 Nismo - 3 inch Calmini/PRG lit with Deaver AALs and Bilstein 5150 shocks - 285/75r16 BFGoodrich Mud Terrain KM2s - Shrockworks skid plates - 4x4 Parts rear differential skid plate - Custom rock sliders - Custom bed mounted spare tire carrier - Cobra 75WXST CB radio w/ Wilson 1000 antenna - Yaesu FT-2800 Mil-SPEC 2M Ham radio w/ Diamond antenna - 2 degree timing advance - Modified air box
  • @SpirituallyTuned

Engines are exactly the same. The difference is going to be the offroad goodies. For example the traction control, hill start, hill decent, locking rear differential, Bilstein shocks, and some skid plates that are not worth much. Congrats on the new truck!

  • This looks like Garden of the gods here in Colorado Springs. Are you in Colorado as well?

  • @SpirituallyTuned

This video was taken on the Broken Arrow trail in Sedona Arizona. It is a beautiful area!

  • @SpirituallyTuned That's no abuse...lol. Abuse is lack of maintenance.

  • @xterrasesc

    LOL! Very true.. Excellent point!

  • I have a 95 Pathfinder with 280,000 miles on it... all original that will go ANYWHERE.

  • @CaptainFrank45

Yea those Pathfinders are great vehicles! I have a number of friends who drive them as well.

  • You're walking!

  • @wArYoYoU

Who is walking and where are they walking to? :)

  • up up and into the Atlantic ocean;-))

  • Thats where the locking rear differential comes in.

  • Yep! That is what I was doing when I stopped. Locking the rear diff...

  • Niiiice!

  • @spondylos

    Thanks!

  • i really dont like the exterior styling of the newer frontiers...they look similar to all other smaller pickups out there but nissans are definitely the best trucks on the road!

  • i like nissan trucks, esp the frontier, but really ford has the best trucks.. research it ;)

  • @MuscleBoy1122

    Thanks! I agree completely!

  • @MuscleBoy1122 This is old, but I love the body of the 2003 frontier, way more tough, military looking.
