7601 I believe has to do with the positioning in the particular range. 7600 meters is 24,900 feet or so which is taller than McKinley which is 21,000 ish and is the tallest in north America.

Anyway, stop the trailer 0:54s and than measure how steep it is, it's around 60o, than extend the trailer into normal video camera HD1080 screen format, and you will see it's not even 40o, it's a clear fake. Beside this guy is saying something about 7000m, ha ha ha, no helicopter is flying that high and there is no peak of this heights in Alaska.

Yeah its true because of the way it was compressed it looks steeper than it really is. Thats still really steep though. And im not sure if you know this but Alaska is in the USA and we do measure things in feet not meters. That peak is 7601 feet above sea level. Definatly not a fake either its from The movie the first descent.

The stats for that mountain are 68o once you drop off the lip, into 61o, finishing to a 20-40 gradient.

The saying around here is "Cordova Alaska, a quaint drinking town,with a skiing and drinking Problem"! So true! I live in Cordova Alaska,have flown allover this state by heli and small bush planes! Just think folks,there are literally hundreds,if not thousand awesome drops up here! We are spoiled,remember most of Alaska skiing is done by heli, because of the lack of roads! Alaska is truly the last frontier. Nothing compares! For those of you thinking of comeing on up,Cordova is unique because our front door is the gulf of Alaska,our back yard literally is 5 minutes away to these peaks! Great party town.

Not to say that it wasn't extreme but when you get a first descent out of a helicopter its only half a first descent. That terrain is accessable and climbable somebody should do a real first descent by climbing up and skiing or riding down.
