Eeek! Far be it from my intention to step on Beatles fans' toes...I do actually quite like the Beatles, just did not really rate their version of this. Funny, as I had a conversation with friends last week that included the claim that most Beatle covers out-do the Beatle originals...not saying it came from me, but I'd offer up Dear Prudence by the Stairsteps,Blackbirds Singing by the Paragons, and I Dig Love by Asha Pulthi as examples that I think fit the theory...

I't's a funny thing with Beatles... When I first started music I really liked them but considered them "easy" and predictable. Since then they keep rising to my appreciation, for their harmonies, their melodic lines, their richness in colours. It's so so difficult to create such a full, solid sound with so few instruments and people.
