  • So there is no right or wrong, no evil or good. Have any of you read any of the texts he has suggested lead to a god?

  • Keller definately brings a lot to the table. I always enjoy reading his articles. However, I do think that in this discussion, he should have made a significant clarification - the Bible does contain the fullness, but the BoM indicates that the fullness was taken (1 Nep 13:24-26). If it can still be argued that the Bible contains the fullness, the understanding of that fullness was distorted. It wasn't only an apostasy of priesthood, but the gospel was distorted as well. 1 Nep 15:14

  • It should also be noted, without priesthood, nobody could have the gift of the holy ghost to be their constant companion. Christians were certainly influenced by the Holy Ghost, but they did not enjoy the gift of it, and hence, the distortions of gospel truth were part of the great apostasy as well. Overall, Keller's point is good - we are adding to that which is true.

  • thankyou, this talk helps.

  • I am glad it helped! Roger Keller is a good man.
