Yes this is the SHIT I remember when I would party in Lafayette Louisiana every weekend from in the mid. to late 90's to early 2001. WOW thanks for this post you just took me back way back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@Dshizzle1029 and @ChillX00 I cannot wait until I bring my dream into reality. Ever since this stuff was taken off the air, its been a long dark decade. I found someone who is still mentally attached to this stuff. Her heart is pure. Cannot wait to bring the dream back at least into my own personal reality.
@Dshizzle1029 what about 96.9 foundation radio or 95 live special eds other pirate stations.were else but orlando could you jump in your car, turn on the radio and here this.i miss those days.
everything is cyclical....when I first moved to Tampa, it was all electronica in 94. Hip-Hop was Tues Nights, like at the side room of Masquerades. I cant remember for sure , maybe '01 or '02 things began going Hip-Hop at all the clubs on Fris & Sats. Change is inevitable, I think. In the meantime, show support by following your fav DJs. Most of them are still DJing and Producing. Dave London, Icey, Sharaz, Baby Anne, Rob-E, Fixx, just to name a few. INMHO.
it hasnt gone nowhere still alive and strong ill bang oldschool breaks anyday and make them nu boys sound like trash, most of the new stuff i hear thats out there sucks it totally sounds like raidio music top 40
I thought I was the only one who missed music from 2001 really for me 2000-2003 were really great years for music. "The One" by DJ Icey is one of my favorites. I also remember "Everytime" by Lustral, "Just Can't Wait" by Sharaz and "Sonic Psychic" by Prophecy Collective oh and I can't forget "If I" and "Take Me Where You Are" by Fiori. I really miss those days. I mean we now have Club XL 106.7 on Saturday nights but it still isn't the same for me as when we had 95.3 Party.
@ChillX00 Prophecy Collective was epic for its time! I think you meant Supersonic Psyche though. Remember when they redid the classic "Somebody to love you" I vaguely remember 95.3. I think I still have a badge from their H2K party :)
