  • Every year NATO stays, support for foreign troops plummets. Why- BECAUSE CANADA IS ACCOMPLISHING NOTHING AND KILLING TOO MANY FUCKING PEOPLE WHO NEVER DID ANYTHING TO US. Let's get the fuck out now and let's pretend this dirty US war never started. idiots!

  • hmmm while i agree with you we are a responsible country and we have to help them and make it better there we cant just bomb em and pull out when we get tired of it we made a commitment fuck the u.s i plan on signing up to go there next year before its all over just so i get a chance to help them and see it. afghans hate the taliban. the taliban randomly kill people and fucking hold them back has a country where doing a good thing there

  • The afghan parliament wants to pass a new Sharia law making it legal for men to rape their wives and requiring women get permission to leave their homes. This is the government we are fighting to protect and spending billions of dollars supporting. This is a massive crime and Canada is complicit. To talk about our responsibility is a joke. We are only responsible for ourselves and our country. Let Afghans come here if they wish to live like we do. We cannot force it upon them.

  • are you retarded? you can get the fuck out of our great country. Does the word freedom mean anything to you? We should put you in a minefield in Afghanistan and then you can say "we don't need help" fuck you, your just a selfish fucker who doesn't want to get your hands dirty to help someone in need

  • this video is pathetic.... ohhhh we gave a piece of rice to a starving child.... after we burned out their farm

  • Glad to see someone is doing some good in Afghanistan. It's sickening to hear a narrator blame limbs lost on just Soviet landmines.

Canadian taxpayers are spending hundreds of millions of dollars on weaponry used in Afghanistan, and our troops just whistle for the real damage, from the air.

The security sought is not for people in wheelchairs, but for US bases and the big grab for Caspian oil and gas.

  • @margot980 are you talking about airstrikes?cause you don't know shit if you are.were down there in the dirt fighting.my sgt was killed in my vehicle when we were in combat so watch what you say ahole

  • afghan president Hamid Karzai asked last year that NATO stop the indiscriminate killings, but so far in 2008 civilian deaths are up 60%. members of the afghan parliament have called for peace talks with the taliban, but canada and the US have said "no" to peace talks, preferring the killing approach. as a result, suicide attack have increased exponentially as regular afghans decide to take matters into their own hands.

  • @ENDFASCISM we say no to peace talks with taliban because we know they would sit there and lie to get us out.yuo must live a sheltered life to believe they would stop killing the people of afghanistan.i'd say thier own people but if you did'nt know the taliban are'nt just afghan's they are pakistani etc.. a nd it's not indiscriminate killing you halfwit .innocents are killed by accident because they are near the fighting.were not over there murdering innocents .god people are stupid.

  • @ENDFASCISM why don't we get rid of the police force in all countries because they accidentally kill someone.it's the same story we are fighting criminals so yah lets stop wasteing money on having police and just let criminals run wild world wide.is that what you want?

  • in one year, the number of afghans tolerating the presence of foreign soldiers dropped almost 20% according to major surveys. afghans are angry over checkpoint shootings, US airstrikes and bombardments and night raids which some have labelled "execution" style missions where homes are raided and innocent people shot to death on the spot. canada should be ashamed to be taking part in this dirty mission. it is based on lies and if we don't leave soon, afghans themselves will kick us out

  • The war continues....10 Nov 07......More than $6-billion has been spent on Canada's military operations in Afghanistan since they began in 2002............

  • 26/10/07 BBC "The United States is pressing its Nato allies to provide more soldiers for the military operation in Afghanistan. Do you support the US demand?"

  • your damn right i do

  • Revenge is a huge concept in the tribal culture. "If you kill my cousin, I will have to kill you to safeguard the tribe's honor," is a common phrase which prevails here.

  • Yep you leave now the gunna get there revenge.

Quit pussy footing around and let are boys get the job done. No one likes war but some times it has to be done and as iv said befor its the outcome that matters.

Leave them now with out school hospitals or an econemy.... YOUR SPELLING DESASTER.

  • Yes, The US demand is reasonable. As a CF soldier. Canada should have at least 3000 - 3600 troops in Afghanistan. 6 billion is actually a very low budget since 2002.

  • Good news 3Sept2007 "Out of Afghanistan by February '09: MacKay"

Canada's military mission to Afghanistan has 'expiration date' in 20 months, Ottawa tells NATO.

  • uh, buddy...canadians ARE welcomed in afghanistan, mabey not by all but by the VAST majority. and isn't that what democracy is all about? majority rule? Or did you forget that we are helping by removing land mines that could cripple or kill the innocent? Just a little food for thought

  • 13June07..."NEW fears were raised over the UK military mission in Afghanistan yesterday as Tony Blair, the Prime Minister, said he worries that the country could slide into the sort of bloody chaos now gripping Iraq.

Britain's envoy in Kabul also described the Taleban resistance facing British troops as "very scary".

AND THE BRITS ARE IN HELMAND ALONGSIDE KANDAHAR>

  • All the wheel chairs in the world will not help if killing goes on.....Wednesday, May 9, 2007

A U.S. Army brigade commander in Afghanistan yesterday told the families of 69 civilians who were killed or wounded by members of an elite Marine Special Forces unit in March that he is "deeply, deeply ashamed" about the incident, describing the series of shootings along a civilian thoroughfare as a "terrible, terrible mistake."

  • If we distributed wheelchairs and real GOLD for the reconstruction of villages and farms Canadians would be welcomed - but we shell, bomb and kill the peasants and spray agent orange on the poppy fields. 14/4/07

MONTREAL NATO allies with troops deployed in southern Afghanistan agreed Thursday to confront a Taliban offensive, but stayed SILENT on sending more units to the battlefield.
