I have a question: how much do you earn as a musician playing clarinet? I'm interested in becoming a musician (maybe) and curious how much professionals get. Please reply - I subscribed and liked! :D
@ArtyomProductions I earn about $150 (before taxes) per service, and I play about 6-8 services a week. But I only work 30 weeks per year in my orchestra. Some orchestras play more weeks, some play less.
Do you have many problems with trying to balance your playing with the rest of the orchestra? Or do you try to focus on individual playing or how you might sound to the audience? Pit orchestra playing is very intriguing to me..
