I vote that the star wars saga does end with the movies but someone takes it to a tv series and does every single star wars movie after episode 6. Think about it and forget the cartoon network clone wars.

@SonAmyFan1012 the third trilogy as lucas had planned it was a very rough outline, but it would completely destroy the EU with its contradictions.

For me, star wars is and always will be the original trilogy. the thing that comes closest to it in spirit is the thrawn book trilogy. the prequels are a complete betrayal of all that the originals represent.

So I would vote that we burn the prequels and MAYBE make the thrawn trilogy and X-Wing series into a tv series.

Here's what I thought. I'm a fan of th Simpsons. If Family guy can do th trilogy and Cleveland can do th prequels, th Simpsons r more than qualified 2 do Thrawn. Just think: Homer as Han, Marge as Leia, Leny as Luke, Carl as Lando, and Edna as Mara Jade. tell me yr thoughts (dont mention copyrights i know but Matt can get it)

@rocketmik65 Not exactly. The empire is taken over by Sate Pestage and the Interim Council of the Empire. That is until Coruscant is liberated and Ysanne Isard, Imperial Director is killed. The Imperial Remnant then retreats to Bastion in the outer rim, where Supreme Admiral Thrawn takes over.

Zahn's trilogy takes the Star Wars story to new and interesting places. Quite frankly, I'd say he has made more of the Star Wars Universe with his books than George Lucas has with the prequels.

Is this from a video game? When you describe something and put something else entirely on the screen after the description, it kinda takes you out of the ilusion. You describe the fledgling empire & put rebels onscreen, you describe New republic in Coruscant & you put x wings; you describe the main characters & you put TIE FIGHTERS onscreen. Try to use the old movies or comic images, you might get continuity. And yes, Hugo Weaving would make a good Thrawn.

I think that 3d or animated is the best way to portray him. I can't imagine a human actor being good enough to play him. How could they get across that much of smooth intellect that Thrawn is? It's impossible. Even Timothy Zahn his creator had a hard time writing Thrawn.
