Just bonkers! A piccolo solo, a key-tar solo, one handed stratospheric cirlcular breathing trumpet playing and some quality haircuts. As subtle as a brick and all the better for it! Classic 80s Maynard. :)

This is my favorite MF band of all time. I saw them performing in Centro de Bellas Artes, San Juan Puerto Rico in 1982. Opening act was Irakere, so you can imagine what kind of banquet I had.

I was on that concert too. Arturo Sandoval looked like a beginner when he played with Maynard on the stage. One of the most exciting concerts I ever see. Later, in his last presentation in PR approx in 90's I saw him again in Bellas Artes! Amazing concert too!!
