  • i wish these people would stop making distortion pedals and putting the word fuzz on them, they're not, go to Basic Audio and take a listen to what a true fuzz pedal sounds like

  • I feel like Im on an island. Most Fuzz pedals sound like thick, noisy distortion too me. I mean there are a couple with nice tones but I dont understand the point in getting something that sounds like a muffled distortion.

  • beatles?

  • Hi PGS,

I read that the Neo fuzz comes with the pre-grain set at 50%. when demoing this pedal, do you know if any of these values were changed? If not, I'm wondering if this pedal gets quite more fuzz if turned up internally. Thanks!

  • @skwerly169 - Hi. We would've demoed the Neo Fuzz at the factory setting. Thanks!

    -PGS Crew

  • Bought Version 2 based on this demo. I couldn't be more happier with a pedal. Although there are a lot of knobs, most are set and forget.

  • This sounds like a hybrid between overdrive and fuzz, I like it.

  • hello are you going to demo the new design neo fuzz? just saw it on thier website

  • @jaiknkayla - No specific plans at the moment, but we'll do that one eventually.

  • this is a beast. love it !

  • PIECE OF MY HEART!: JANIS JOPLIN

  • i yi yi, comments pending approval? "ahhh...ahhh...ahhhhh ahhNOBALLS!#achew##$!"

  • why is the neo fuzz more expensive then the gi fuzz?

  • Its a germanium new old stock transistor, the GI is a silicon transistor, which is much more common.

  • +1 for being aussie 8-)

  • it's realy hard to get the best fuzz there is. I like the mjm london fuzz as well. But is it the best? I wouldn't know. What do you think proguitarshop :-)?

  • i just got mine yesterday .best fuzz i have ever played amazing versitility and sound. wow!

  • 5:30 sounds overloaded

  • I love that they do all these demos, and Andy definately knows how to put a pedal through its paces in a helpful, concise, informative manner, but only some of these pedals sound good through that damn 65 soho. I don't know anyone that plays that amp personally, and it has a very distinctive sound. These boutique pedals should be demoed through the amps their likely buyers would probably have, don't ya think?

  • Since the back end of last year, PGS started using a Deluxe Reverb Reissue.

In my opinion, I would have preferred them to have chosen the Hot Rod, because £1,000 is still a lot of money to spend on an amp, but it's a better demo than the a 65 Amp.

  • Guitar Center never would put this much work into anything. PGS does vid demos for almost all their stuff

  • This is probably the best fuzz pedal I have heard so far. Does anybody own this one and play stoner doom?

  • My previous comments question was answered once he played communication breakdown.

  • Would this be good for zeppelin tones?

  • some songs, mostly they just have distortion, not fuzz. tho that is 70s distortion which is similar to fuzz.

  • I think i have found my new girlfriend...

  • i've been searching for the perfect overdrive for me for months and i'm still not sure what it is but i am sure that PGS helped me so much and it's amazing =D

  • I always enjoy the Who riffs in these demos, good ole' Fortune Teller ala Live at Leeds, for example around 3:35...nice.

  • OMG please tell me whats the first riff you're playing in the video when showing the neofuzz, I know it, but I don't remeber the artist or the songname.

  • Take a Little Piece of My Heart by Janis Joplin, or Dusty Springfield, or others who covered it

  • Yes, Zeppelin and The Stooges in one demo!

  • does MI Audio have a germanium fuzz with a NKT275 transistor?

  • Wow, I've never even heard of this fuzz pedal, very very nice. Too many controls for my liking but it does sound great. I'm still yet to hear a better sounding fuzz than the Fuzzie Bro Goldtone Fuzz pedal.

  • the bright switch seems like it's kinda in a good spot to get broken easily...

  • this one toally smokes my big muff. gotta have one of these!

  • at over double the price, it should lol

  • Why do you say the pedals overpriced? Its a bit high but it sound pretty good.

  • its still expensive. it sounds great but its almost 200 dollars

  • yeah but it costs less than the zvex fuzz factory

    and sounds better (my opinion)

  • amazing... do a demo of G.I. Fuzz as well, please

  • They're on order. As soon as we get one in, we will definitely put up a video. The GI sounds a lot different than the NEO, it's a Silicon fuzz which sounds more aggressive! Thanks,

    PGS

  • thanks too

  • awsome fuzz quite old school

  • All the good Germanium mines are in Australia.

  • MI Audio's Australian, so if I wanted a germanium fuzz, this would be my choice.

  • This smokes any Fuzzface I've heard! Why buy a two knob fuzz and limit yourself? I really like the idea of the character knob; I personally prefer Humbuckers. MI Audio stuff is so underrated. Great redo with the new rec. gear BTW!

  • You do great demos of pedals. Please do some guitars, or more amps please.

  • Yes! PGS does the BEST pedal demos.

  • re-post?

  • Yes, only with the new recording setup!

    -PGS

  • Thanks !

  • Summertime blues! Love that pedal!

  • Big Brother and Holding Company FTW!

  • first!
