It was hard at first, you need to baby the throttle in first gear, i have a 9 in ford with a 2.7 differential ratio, so the gears are kind of stretched, it only spins in second gear with a hard launch, the turbo lag in second is kind of like a low range TCS system. after about 4 grand, the car is rolling enough that it wont spin in second gear.
It has a 9 inch ford rear end with 2.7:1 rear end, and the tires are pretty sticky, plus 200 of those pounds are over the back tires. I can hook up in second.

@marioldd Because they are MUCH more reliable in the long run. American engines tend to go past 450,000 miles easier than anyone else, because American engineers have been doing R&D on them, since the beginning. I hardly ever see any videos of Asian and European cars reaching the 1 million mile marker, because it almost never happens, and yet you can find videos of American cars reaching 1 million+ miles, all over youtube. So what was that about a piece of American shit?

Do any of you think before you speak? Look at how quickly (or should I say how slow) the malibu gets up to speed. If that was indeed a stroker, it would have gotten up alot quicker than it did. None of you know what you are talking about. I am willing to put money on the fact that this malibu has a mostly stock 350 with exhaust. No cam was exsistant in the vid, I watched it 5 times with the sound up. If it was a built 350, then why no cam? No one builds a block and leaves stock cams. Retards.

A 4th gen Malibu NEVER CAME with a 350.(aside from a 350 diesel,which that clearly wasn't, or the Malibu wagon which had an optional 350, which this also wasn't) How many fucking times do I have to say this? That was a 305 at best. Could have even been a 267, depending on the year. Even if it where a late 70's or early 80's 350, it still only put out 190 hp in a 4000lb car.

@TheJordanGraff too bad a 4th gen malibu never came with a 350 for 1 Secondly, the only difference between a 305 and a 350 is the bore size.(in a small block chevy) third, there's no way of telling what size a SBC is by the "sound". where you born retarded or was it the oven cleaner you huff on a daily basis? I've built well over 50 motors myself, including the car on my page, which I built myself from the frame up.
