To be honest the US will always be more racist than the UK in general. The racism in this country is directed at Asians but to be honest in my day to day life I barely see any of that. White people make up 70% or so of the population. There's actually a lesser percentage of whites than black people on welfare, because blacks make up 33% while black people only make up 14% of the population. That's staggering...

To be honest the US will always be more racist than the UK in general. The racism in this country is directed at Asians but to be honest in my day to day life I barely see any of that. It's the fact that the government are so PC they try to make solutions for problems which barely exist. I can only speak for where I live but I don't see much difference between major cities (London, Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool, Leeds) and I haven't noticed racism in the countryside.

It's strange that Veagsrbg said something like that, because although the American election for Barack Obama was just for Americans to vote, I have spoken to/seen and heard, tons of White British people (myself included) support his campaign throughout. That's hardly White British people dividing African British people and African Americans...
