I understand it's good for gaining experience, but are you doing it because you want it to be a true 100% run?

@HardlyAstounding This walkthrough stopped being a 100% run in the very first mission, but I might be hacking without necessity because of habit. I was previously hacking everything possible to demonstrate how each puzzle could be completed without many hacking upgrades, but we're probably far enough in the game that I should stop doing that, except perhaps for level 4/5 panels.

@swirekster Yeah, I think it definitely would've been nice if you could spare them somehow and then have them show up at a later point in the game, sort of like Walton Simons. HR did this for Narhari Kahn, but he isn't a boss.
