  • Time-traveling Germans save the Vaterland!

  • @punipunipunisher leopard 2 a 6 on the last german defends easteren front german win

  • There are more material mistakes in this movies: The planes doing the bombing when pushing through the line are also not the correct planes (They are ww2 but not the kind that was really used).

  • The German Battle Tanks in the Movie are definitivly Leopard 1, leased by the Dutch Army.

  • this looks terrible. and when they start shooting, the germans wait for themselves to be shot without firing back... how can films be enjoyed when its so obvious that its not real... it just looks so staged

  • OK you arguing fucks. Yes this is a Leopard 1, This is the 1970's, and during this time NO TIGERS, PANTHERS, OR ANY GERMAN TANK was restored. What the fuck would you rather have? a German T-34 running in or a German Leopard1.

  • @USAYTRB the spainish army did in fact have 6 tigers operational until the mid 1980's,also operational were other german armored vehichles as well in other NATO nations, primarly switzerland.

  • nice a leopard1 in ww2, if this will be the german win the war !!!!

  • that is Panther you stupid bitch

  • @giewgail This is Leopard 1, bro. They couldn't get Panther for this movie, so they used Leopard 1

  • @giewgail how the fuck is that a panther you stupid bitch, that's a Leopard 1

  • Its film, get on with it.

  • Most films don't use the real tanks/aircraft, look at Top Gun, the Mig 28's were actually F5 Tigers. :)

  • Next you'll be moaning that the Tiger in Saving Private Ryan was actually a T34.

  • @GUnitSeanAKAmong IT WAS a T34 or 72 Chassis - The Tiger had interlocking whells!

  • well its built upon the Panther so good enough

  • @Leopardipzg the panther only influenced the AMX 50 wich was cancelled

  • @F4Wildcat well you can see from the shape of it how it reminds of panther

  • guys it's a only a film stop moaning like little bitches

  • I love how military history geeks love to pick apart the details. Do you really think that anyone other than you lot gives a damn about the "realism"? Self-righteous group of twats. Go back to your video games...

  • @eastbayj06 I am fully aware that they had to use what they could get for the movie, along with Battle of the Bulge, but they did their best in Saving private Ryan with the detailing, so cut some of us history geeks a break and piss off some other group.

  • @eastbayj06 I'm actaully an amatuer "military Historian" thank you very much. My father is a war-gamer and also a war nerd. He has a library of old war related books one of which being "a bridge too far".

  • OK, you have to admit, PIATs gunners in this part were pretty lame. Even if we assume it was hard to aim that thing, don't you thing they wasted an opportunity when the tank was right between the occupied buildings?

  • @Wykletypl

firing when your friends are in the background is a bad idea as it risks blue on blue.

  • The Germans wouldn't send a lone tank into Arnhem like that. It's usually sent in platoons of 3 and with formidable infantry support.

  • @Trashcansam123 Das reich were on holidays when the brits dropped in on them.........They had to use leopards as king tigers because there are only 12 remaining tiger tanks in the world.... and only one of those work....

  • @angelalovemarcus Das Reich in Holland? Never heard of that. There were 9th and 10th SS Divisions in Arnhem

  • @Wykletypl you might be right - can't remember now its been a while since I read the book.......let me have a look tonight......Anyhow that leopard tends to give me a hard on so its lucky I remember anything.....

  • hollywood crap!

  • wow they didn't do a good job of hinding the fact its a leo1 lol. hell even that T-55 that was made to look like a tiger in saving private ryan was better looking then that thing lol.

  • @ZMEMatchstick It still gives ma a hard on........

  • Is this really from the actual movie? I don't remember it being this stoopid. Then again, I was young and impressionable.

  • @jrg8008 yeap with not many german tanks from ww2 left they had to make do with what they had.

  • such emotions ;D

  • I don't recognize that tank at all... a Leopard 1? Wasn't the only Leopard named german tank in WW2 an uncompleted recon tank prototype?

  • @alphamax03 There are two Bundeswehr main battle tanks called Leopard. This, the Leopard 1, was the first version of the Leopard MBT.

  • After Graebner's attack, no German armor came over the bridge from the South. I wish at least they had painted it in Panzer Yellow instead of grey.

  • so is this a leopard 1 masked by KING TIGER?

  • Comment removed

  • @Giampymike It was supposed to be a Panther.

  • that "panther" really owned them

  • Guess the Germans did a little time-traveling.
