Best way I have found to stop a baby from crying is as he is screaming grab a pillow and cover his face. The baby will then continue to ascream for one minute, maybe less and then fall asleep. This works every time. It is awesome. I think it is making my son smarter as well because he is far more responsive once he awakens.
