  • Sounds perfect i need that as my ringtone

  • I fucking HATE that song and wish it never existed. This mustang is sweet, though.

  • Nice. when are you going to post more video?

  • Hopefully before winter sets in....otherwise probably in the spring.

  • That is the best lope I have ever heard from a mustang very nice.

  • BADASS

  • Nice. Thumbs up

  • what size are your rims and tires

  • 17x9s with 245/45-17 front and 275/40-17 rear

  • Also i forgot to ask you do 17x 10.5 rims fit in the fox and if not is there any way of doing so that way they will fit because thats what i really want to do to my mustang are there any clearnce issues that will not let me i mean will they fit in the wheel wells with out anything thank you again

  • I've seen guys that have them, but it depends on your setup. Other than installing mini-tubs and a coilover rear suspension, I know it requires removing the quad shocks and working on the inner fender with a BFH, and maybe the exhaust. If you have SN95 (94-95) axles they'll clear easier, but stick out further than the wheel lip. There's also a company making 17x10 wheels that require less work and you can run a 315 on them.

Front brakes are 13" w/ Bullit calipers, rear is Lincoln MKVII 11.25"

  • you know i hate to be asking so many many questions but i just want to do my research before doing anything thanks alot

  • so what size of brakes are you using in front and rear

  • Thank You for your help by the can i use v6 mustang spindels because i saw them on cj pony web site and i was thinking that maybe they will fit what do u think is it possible or its alot easier buying a lincolin mark 7 or the junkyard whats easy and how did u do the five lug conversion thanks again

  • It depends what year the spindles are from. 94-95 spindles have the track width that is most compatible with popular 5 lug wheels to fit the Fox. I did my conversion with 94-95 spindles & driver's side ranger axles. Both from the junk yard.

  • hey killer mustang but how did u do the wiring when the car is 4 cyl and you did the v8 swap can you get back at me thank you for your time

  • I used a V8 computer (A9L) & complete engine harness from a mass air car. Make sure if you're buying it from someone that the 02 & injector harness is included or you'll be buying that too. The dash harness is the same for 4cyl or V8 so I reused it. If you're swapping from auto to manual you'll need a pedal box and a manual trans harness as well.

  • Yes I did a swap and had a donor car and it was easy. Of coarse you gotta have the 5.0 harness and brain too. but If you wanna do it right then it wouldnt be a bad idea to put in a new wiring harness as well. Painless make the best bang for the buck harness on the market. This is my opinion..

    Great looking V8 swap!!!

  • Hey you know what i did the same thing to my 92 LX a v8 conversion keep up the good work

  • how hard was it doing the swap? im thinking of doing one it isnt that bad is it?

  • It's not bad as long as you've got everything needed....haha. A donor V8 car makes it much easier. There's alot of info on the net for 4cyl to V8 conversions.

  • thats what i figured i have a v8 hatch that i wana use for parts so theres half the battle

  • Time for a tune and raise the idle lol

  • Yeah, it was the first startup so we hadn't set the idle or base timing yet.

  • damn thats sick. that cam must be radical as hell.

  • lopey ..lopey...sounds badass man!

  • Very nice. I love seeing a faithful old fox receiving some TLC.

  • how much was it for the 2 tone paint?

  • whats the duration and lift of your cam?

  • 228/234 @ .050" & .563/.544"

  • so how exactly is the intake duration shorter than the exhaust but the lift is .019" bigger???

  • It's a custom cam, that's just the way this particular profile is ground. Lift and duration are not constrained by each other. With split-pattern cam profiles, you can have separate lifts and durations for intake/exhaust. This cam has asymmetric lobes as well, so you have to time it by valve events and not lobe center.

  • ya after i commented i guess the intake lobe has more of a narrower but taller lobe??? giving it a shorter distance across for duration but more push on the rocker for high lift???

  • Yeah, more duration on the exhaust at a lower lift and less duration at a higher lift on the intake.

  • ohh nice...i jus put a vid up of my 93 coupe u should check it out

  • flowmasters?

  • Yep. 2-1/2" Super 44s

  • Man i usually dont like 2 tone stangs but that is a very nice ride !!

  • Love the FR500s on the foxbody

  • really nice car is the rear on the car fox body rear or sn95...also what kind of paint job thanks

  • Thanks man.

It's a fox rearend w/ ranger axles. The paint is DuPont Chromabase Basecoat/Clearcoat. Metallic Silver & Dark Shadow Grey.

  • nice car but this isnt a 92 its a 86 or less look at the back side windown..but dont get me wrong this car is absolutly beautiful

  • Sorry man, but you're wrong. There isn't a quarter window installed on the car, they all look like that when it's not there. Also, an 86 would have 4 headlights and a totally different front-end & hood. Thanks for the compliment though.

  • lol at this guy telling you about your car. its sweet man, check my coupe out sometime. btw love the paint scheme, seems you need to adjust timing a tad (you prob already have) but yeah props to your rides

  • your right i just noticed that..i thought you had did a front end conversion tho...bcuz it has the back molding on the bumper of a 86

  • sounds sweet i am about to convert my 92 2.3 got any tips

  • Thanks.

    Yeah...multiply your budget by 2....haha.

Make sure you get an engine harness from a 92 and it will save you a lot of headaches.

  • How did you get your fuel pump to turn on? I got a 93 harness and its a 93 and the fuel pump wont turn on.

  • If it is a 93 harness, there should be a relay around the passenger side strut tower for the fuel pump and also one for WOT A/C cutoff. If that one works, check the inertia switch in the trunk. It may need to be reset. Does everything else turn on? Did your harness come w/ the PCM relay? It is above the computer in the passenger kick panel area. Check fuses, fuel pump wiring & grounds, etc... Check out the corral if you still don't get it. Lots of info there.

  • It didn't come with a PCM Relay, so I put one from a 89 harness I had laying around, fuel pump still doesn't turn on after messing with it the whole week, its not getting power to the fuel pump harness its got power to the brown/purple wire that give power to the pink/black wire but its not getting power.

  • what size are those wheels

  • 17x9s front & rear

  • Are you running a high torque starter?

  • No, it's actually the original 4cyl starter. Seems to be working just fine. Compression isn't that high since it has stock pistons and 58cc AFRs.

  • That is a beautiful fox!

  • nice wheel

  • omg i love the way that engine sounds

  • Why dont you just idle at 2000 when you cank? I do it for a few seconds on mine and the carb pics up nicely. =)

  • This was the first startup and it's an EFI car. The computer hadn't learned the idle yet.

  • Bubba, did you not notice the rather quite noticeable EFI intake that is ubiquitous on fox bodies.

  • Sounds good!!!

    Digging the paint

  • if you are runnin with a girdle and arp studs thats enough bottom end work to handle nitrous, my car is stock in the bottom with afr 165s and edlebrock preformer rpm and a custom cam, and the rest of that basic fuel system junk, throttle body injectors and what not, i suggest sprayin a wet 125 through a nozzle in the cold air, my car went 12.70s on motor and with a 125 went 11.69 and im runnin a 4.30 gear, iv en=been thru numerous bottles its nearly harmless in moderation clean car man!!!

  • The engine was built by a buddy of mine with the gas in mind. I put an NX wet kit on it shortly after this video in May '08. With a 100 shot it made 410hp/470ft-lbs on a Dynojet 224xLC. This car also did 12.78 on motor, but I don't have any times with the 100 shot. I've been out of commission since October due to a minor fender bender, but I'll have it back on the road in a few months.

  • stock bottom end?

  • Yes w/ ARP main & rod studs plus a girdle.

Pistons are flycut for the valves.

  • the song is imagine john lennon

  • dude. that thing sounds awesome. great job

  • Did you say mid to hig 12s that seems alittle slow must be a typo....

  • nice

  • whats taht song in the background

  • All The People - The Beetles

  • those fr500s are fucking awesome on that fox.

the car is sex, and the color sceme aint bad either.

  • needs a tune bro

  • This was the first the car was fired up. Still needed the base idle set and for the computer to learn everything.

    The car runs perfect, mid-hi 12's w/ a 75mm Pro-M meter and stock A9L computer...so no need for a tune.

  • Love the five oh man! ford was going down hill to 1979 ;)

  • Gorgeous man love the scheme and the fr500's

  • Thanks for the compliments, we worked real hard on the car and it's paid off. Plus it hauls ass...hahaha

  • That car's freakin' badass.

  • coupes are the shit !!!! i now it because i have one!!lol !! sounds great!

  • you probly know this already, but ur idler is realy low.

  • Yeah, it was the first startup and we hadn't set base idle yet.

  • nice car by the way. love it.

  • Nice notch man!

  • EFI is a pain in the butt! Nice car man, good choice of wheels and tires w/ the paint scheme. What are the cam specs?

  • Thanks man. It's an FTI custom cam w/ a little more than 560/540 lift and 280+ duration. EFI isn't so bad, I'm averaging about 20 mpg!

  • good song in the back round

  • that looks really good

  • NICE!

  • you have a pretty nice lookin coupe there and nice engine too
