I was actually defending you, (in reply to bartlogtens). The D7 you are playing, while it may not be in the original, is entirely appropriate in a song in G (as is the D).

The D7 is fine in this song. Play what sounds best to you, but from a theoretical perspective, either D or D7 would be appropriate.

Just keep playing, your hands will eventually learn to make better changes, and tips from a pro doesn't hurt either, there ARE tricks to change from chord to chord easier.

sameehjubran, this is a great song to practice to get the chord transitions down. It's one of the first I learned, it took a while, but practice and you'll get it down. Nothing comes easy.

It's a shame, youtube is a great outlet for promoting, and exposing artists to new fans, and old. As you can see in the description of this video, Exile forced me to insert their disclaimer!
