What type of file is it?

Try putting it in a zip file. VBA and other USB loading wii software uses Zip files

@TheMrSuperrohan You need to put it onto an sd card, I think schc sd cards arent compatible, only SD ( maximum 2gb ) and then you need to install via homebrew, just have a look at some guides on youtube

i am using a Seagate 1.5 TB external hard drive for storing my games. whenever i click on the game to start it (in the USB loader GX) it brings me back to the Wii homepage. is there something i need to do differently? everything worked perfectly with my USB stick but not the hard drive... :/ hmm

If you google "Wii USB Device Compatibility List" you'll find a page that has all known HDD's that work on the Wii. If your HDD is not on the list that doesn't mean it won't work. Best thing to do is just try it.

Now you can use NTFS, but you have the split the files for some reason, it's still just easier to have a ntfs partition and wbfs partition

the WBFS manager automaticly gets the cover, send it to My Documents>WBFS manager covers, i put them onto the sd card then i load usb loader then i get the error about the cover not being divided by 4.. the size of the cover.. i got the cover size as 160 x 225, how do i fix this? thanks! :D

No you don't need to do anything to the iso at all. Just use WBFS Manager to put the iso on your external USB drive. Thats it.

this sounds awesome. but you can really play the full wii games even though theyre only 100 mbs? and cand i use a sd card instead of a usb stick, hence the name of the program called sd/usb loader?

Only some of the games can be shrunk down to anywhere between 100mb - 4gb and yes they are the full versions. Yes to the SD card but like I said only a few games will be 100mb most common size for a scrubbed game is around 1- 2gb best to get a external HD so you can grab LOTS of games!

.iso, but look for scrubbed versions, those will save you alot of download time. Some games can be scrubbed down ALOT. The game gravity for example can be scrubbed down to around 100mb rather than 4gb compared to non scrubbed.

If your using an iso, you hook up the usb drive to your PC and use a WBFS Manager to add the iso to the drive. Once it's complete you then connect the drive back t your Wii. If your using a original Wii game then you keep the drive connected to the Wii and use the USB Loader it's self to copy the game to the drive. Follow the guide at TURDinc. It tells you everything you need to know.

If you download "scrubbed" versions witch remove all the junk files they can be as small as 99mb. Even if you don't download a scrubbed version the WBPS Manager will automatically remove the junk files when it puts the .iso on your USB device.

First you have to get HomeBrew installed on your Wii. Fallow the guides on my site, either 3.4 or lower or the 4.0 guide depeinding on what version your Wii is at. Then fallow the guide to install the USB Loader.

You simple buy a USB hard drive. Then use the software from my guide to make it all work. Note: you need to have your Wii softmodded with HomeBrew channel installed first. I have a guide for that as well.

This is the one I got - Western Digital My Passport Essential WDMEW3200TN 320GB - I wouldn't get one bigger than 320gb or you might run into spindown issues. Newegg has them at a pretty good price.

If you follow the guide and download the files from TURDinc. You won't brick your Wii. Bricking happenes when people do stupid things to there Wii's.

you use the same usb for both, put the usb in your computers hard drive...burn iso's or wads, then put it in the back of your wii...lol... the bigger the hard drive, the more games you can fit iso's or wads you can put on it.

If your on a PAL console playing PAL games then it's no problem. If your on a NTSC console playing PAL games then you have to make sure you get a USB Loader that has Individual Game Settings. The Loader I have in my guide (Channel Version) has that.
