theseus was an actual person. he really did exist. the aegean sea in greece took its name after his father, aegeas, the king of athens. i dont object with hollywood making a movie and changing small details, e.g. 300 which was awesome (even though xerxis looked like a drag queen :p), but here they have all kinds of wrong things! it is my kind of entertainment, i just want some things to be done right and however they want. i am not asking for the actual 100% copy of the myth, but close to it
