  • Is it possible to tour Pripyat? Sorry if this is a dumb question, just really need to know because I have planned on going there in the year 2013 once I graduated highschool.

  • @robbysharolaid You can. I believe they put you in a Hazmat suit. you can check it out here stayinkiev. c o m /en/Chernobyl-Tour

  • @KatiTesamaru Ok thanks a lot man!

  • @KatiTesamaru

They dont put you into Suits if you go on are a tourist.

U just get a Geiger Counter.

  • @ 6:28 Is this the "red forest" when it was still red (in 1986)?! Do you know where I can find more pictures or videos of this?

  • chernobyl and fokushima should be alarm for all humanity to shutdown every nuclear station in world.....we are so selfdestructed nation:((

  • @zajak1tale I totally agree!

  • man made silent hill

  • @CArdsadET /watch?v=mWW2xANkbSw i think you may be seriously interested in viewing this youtube extension...

  • 日本はやがてこうなる。いや、もっとひどいか…

  • But the liquiddaters are ready to help japan, thumbs up to all of you liquidaters and god bless you all

  • 2:09 Bullets? That's so odd... they use the force against the people who use the gas masks?

  • Nice video!

  • All of this madness just to plug my cellphone in to charge it. oh wait i was responsible for power surge when i plugged it in Fucking Motorola lol

  • @Gaswar1916

But however, only a few paranormal investigator like Destination Truth dare to come here. Now, I really hope that Ghost Adventures were be there to investigate as well cause this place is the real deal for the ultimate lock-down. Now we have to wait Season 5 that is the important season for us.

  • @Angsc09 To pripjat you mean? That would be interesting, but i doubt if they'll get permission from the government. But there is a hotel in that area that is still open, you can stay there and at night they lock all the rooms, because they dont want people wondering around at night(and taking stuff from the abandoned houses)

  • so who owns chernobyl then?

    or who rules it?

  • @saqibd123new Nobody, there is police security around the 30 mile radius. Some people have returned to the abandoned villages, but that must be so scary, if something bad happens, there is no around one to help you.

  • @xoxoJGWS

    wow 0_0

yeah that would be terrifying :/

  • there's freaking gasmasks all over the place

  • @Haxxzors Yeah, freaky right? most people think the kids must have put them on and in a hurry pull them off or something. But in fact, they were in sorage, not at all used during the whole chernobyl thing. But after everybody left, people ransack the place and those gasmasks have tiny silver plates built in. Silver is worth money, so the gasmasks were pulled out of storage, silver was torn out and the rest was left there on the ground:(

  • @Italipino44

Chernobyl wasn't nuked. Lmao. A nuclear reactor exploded at a plant in Pripyat.

  • @Italipino44 cod 4 is just a game around the area in 2 missions but in real life reactor 4 of chernobyl exploded due to overgeating and 10 0000 tons of radiation was released everyone was evacuated immeadetly from the area including pripyat it was in ukraine thats what happened....150 000 of people died throught radiation poisoning!

  • @MsKevin400 just to correct you evacuation was not immediate not being rude people were still living in the area 1 week after the event as they refused to leave the actual first evac was 2 days after.

  • what is the name of song

  • One day,

the whole world must visit this place.

    One day,

every leader of the world must visit this place.

Japan was nuked, but only Chernobyl shows the aftermath.

  • @DJMation japan still shows the aftermath radiation levels are still above normal and still suffer from illness just not as frequent but still does not compare to this devastation

  • @DJMation Yeah you are rite on that one amen and god bless you

  • @DJMation Now sadly, Japan may share this fate, when their government finally admits how bad Fukashima was/is.

  • Chernobyl is more like silent hill :S

  • excellent video it's too sad

  • Best video y ever seen thanks a lot makes me feel so sad Grettings from Argentina god bless them he R.I.P Too sad ;(

  • yeah my grand ma died in there ;[[

  • @Kaimietizz You have my condolences. :(

  • we should all see and know about these disasters so that it remind us (all over the world - and especially to scientists politicians and military ppl) that when we do something we must act with responisbility to ourselves and to others.

  • being caught in severe radiation.....like being in a microwave.....cooks u on a molecular level..tht shit is very scary...those poor soldiers and people...all tey had to wear where gasmasks and like paper suits...they didnt stand a chance...horrible way to die

  • NOT CHERNOBYL ITS PRYPIAT

  • Pripyat is at Chernobyl idiot...

  • @Nukedphone Uh. My Dumbass detector just went off. Pripyat is a city just outside of Chernobyl.

  • I wanna see it on google map

  • should have made nuclear shelters before hand, this shows that human error is a recipe for disaster, R.I.P All who died in Chernobyl, I also feel bad for all the people living with radiation poisioning and their children who cant live much longer :(

  • Yeah me too in that part where is child's toy :( for all people who lived in chernobyl R.I.P. :(

  • Mhhhm this is of course a very sad story but what is absolutely OUTSTANDING is the way they banded together(the people, military etc) to "contain" the incident

    god bless them. R.I.P. :(

  • chernobyl

    youtube. com/watch?v=FNdHIBoRbyA

  • On 1986, Chernonyl reactor 4 overheated and started a steam explosion. Seconds later a larger, more powerful steam explosion occured, which is what caused all the damage. The radiation spread over the world in a day. America was lucky, only miniscule amounts landed here. Ukrane and Belarus, well......

  • @JohnDaMaster not being mean/rude or anything but your incorrect about the overheating. the safety mechanisms were turned of in a test and could not be turned back on after the shut down which caused it to over heat.

  • this is why radiation scares the fuck out of me

  • The best movie with pictures about chernobyl iv'e seen so far! You even got the vehicles that where abandoned. Great Movie 5/5

  • Seriously, not to be rude... But I will NEVER look at Call of Duty 4 the same way ever again.

  • @LeathalKnight your not alone

  • this made me cry lmao r.i.p to the people that died and sacrificed thereselves to try to save others

  • Припять, прости живых

  • It was a nuclear plant meltdown it was accidental. No bombing.

  • All those vehicles are highly radioactive, that's why they are abandoned.

  • default in the conception of reactor 4 from Lenine power plant: overheat during a test (human mistake) and reactor blow up, causing massive radioactive emissions.

  • damnit :| this is the result of man's stupidity =_= ... and just think of what might have happened if other reactor's would have blown :| ... truly : Man made HELL !

  • And its 18 minutes long :p

  • Lol, you've totaly mixed up reality and the game :p

  • COD:4 had NOTHING at all to ever do with Chernobyl. Ever. Accident, thats all.

  • East Hastings-Godspeed You Black Emperor!
